Great question, Tex!
You are correct that both the Curt # C92WR and Draw-Tite # 76194 trailer hitch receivers have the same basic design for your 2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge. We actually had the opportunity to install the Curt on a 2024 XC60 so if your XC60 Recharge has the same cutout in the bumper that we show in the video (and I've attached in a photo) then you won't have to trim anything or hammer anything into place.
If the rear bumper on your XC60 Recharge doesn't have the cutout then... view full answer...
No, I am sorry we do not have any pictures or instructions of the Oris Hitches Detachable Hitch item # TS76VR installed on a 2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge. We haven't had an opportunity to install this hitch yet.
What I do have, that I hope helps, is an installation video and instructions for the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH87FR, which is almost an identical set up. I have attached these below. We actually installed this hitch on a 2023 Volvo XC60 Recharge and took a couple... view full answer...
Hi Tyler, great question! Stealth Hitches only lists the # SH87FR as fitting the regular 2025 hybrid (plug-in isn't listed) in their instructions. However, I reached out to them directly and found that it fits the 2025 XC60 PHEV as well so you will be able to install this on your vehicle. For 2025 Volvo has the regular model, the hybrid, and the PHEV which I think technically was the Recharge before so it can get a little convoluted with the fitment.
What do you plan on using the hitch for? view full answer...
Yes, it does Alan so long as you have a light bar connected to it. The Curt T-Connector item # C84RJ itself won't stop the reverse collision sensor from going off when you're using a bike rack on your 2023 Volvo XC60. You need to have something receiving the signal from the 4-way connector to make that go away.
The Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights item # C53201 will work with any bike rack. It is powered by your 4-way connector item # C84RJ and has 3M strips that attach the LEDs to... view full answer...
Hello Jon,
I find it interesting that on the Draw-Tite you have to trim the heat shield and on the Curt you do not, which really is the case.
With any aftermarket hitch there is always the possibility of the kick free sensor being covered, we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C92WR and found that the sensor is not covered and works just fine.
As for unhooking the sensor, that will not be necessary, it is located behind the fascia and is not in... view full answer...
Hey Rob, I would go with the Curt trailer hitch part # C92WR for your 2023 Volvo XC60 Recharge which like you said is going to have an easier install and also we have found they have a higher quality consistently. view full answer...
There unfortunately isn't a custom-fit towing mirror set for a 2021 Volvo XC60 so you would need to go with a universal-fit set like the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors # 7070-2. These will clip to the mirror housing and have rubber straps to tighten down the mirrors for a snug fit. view full answer...
The reason the Draw Tite hitch part # 76194 can't be used with a weight distribution system is due to how it attaches to the vehicle. What we have found is that if it attaches along the bottom of the frame rails it can be used with a WD system, assuming the vehicle can handle it, but if it attaches to the back of the frame like this hitch it cannot be used with a WD. It just puts too much torque on a portion of the frame that is smaller so it can't handle the stress. view full answer...
You will want to go with the Curt Hitch item # C92WR. There is no stealth hitch for the 2022 Volvo XC60 Recharge. The Curt hitch is confirmed to fit your Volvo.
I like this hitch because it has the highest capacity amongst available hitches and it installs with a hidden cross tube. This leaves only the 2" x 2" receiver visible when you are not towing. It has an identical installation method and as of 12/03 you'll save some money over the Curt item # C92WR.

I have 2 different bike rack options for you and it really depends on what you're wanting to get out of the bike rack.
From what you said in your question it sounds like you really care about quality so for that I recommend the Kuat Piston Pro X and the following parts:
- Kuat Piston Pro X Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # KU45VR
- Loading Ramp # KU63VR
- Fender Straps # KU43VR
The is a top-of-the-line bike rack that has unrivaled ease of use. The only problem with this solution is that the... view full answer...
The correct trailer hitch receiver we offer for a 2022 Volvo XC60 Recharge is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C92WR. This is a bolt-on trailer hitch which does not require any drilling. It has a 2" receiver with class III rating so you can use this for hitch mounted accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers or for towing (if applicable). In regards to the hands free liftgate, this will still be operational but you'll be limited to either side of the receiver tube opening. view full answer...
The Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches # Y96FR requires a distance of at least 2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of your hitch in order to fit, so while I can't tell you off-hand if it fits your Volvo adapter, you can use that as a way to determine the fit.
As for the ramp, the # Y96FR ramp is 2 inches wide, so your tires wouldn't fully fit inside the ramp, you'd have to essentially roll them on top of it.
