The Lippert 5,200lb axle under your 2015 Open Range Light 311FLR 5TH Wheel is going to need 2 Seals # GS-2250DL per axle. We do have the Bearing Kit # BK3-300 which will contain the races, bearings, a seal and cotter pin for one hub. This would be good to keep on hand incase you find out any of the bearings and races are worn/damaged when you go to replace the seals.
We have the Seal Puller # PTW1219 and Install Kit # PTW83020 which will make removal and installation of the seals and... view full answer...

Hello Lance. The RVD-H-65535 hub you mentioned uses the same bearing sizes as a standard 3,500 lb axle, only it has a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. The # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K hub will be the correct replacement as this has been confirmed to work with 4,400 lb axles as well as 3,500 lb axles. view full answer...
Hey Russell,
There are a couple options for you to get a hitch on that 5th wheel. We do not currently have a custom fit one for that specific trailer but we have some bumper mount, and frame mount universal options.
If your 5th wheel has a bumper I would recommend something like the # e38HR, etrailer RV bumper hitch 3500lbs. This fits bumpers that are 4" x 4" or 4" x 4 1/2", which are fairly standard bumper size. There are other sizes as well so I would need to know your bumper dimensions... view full answer...
Hey Robert, for the Lippert leveling system the best lube to use for the gears and all of the moving parts would be a dry spray silicone lube like the Roadmaster # RM-747. view full answer...
Hey Richard,
Based on the axle tag you provided you'll need the following components:
Inner Bearing # L68149
Outer Bearing # L44649
Grease Seal # 58846 (single) # RG06-050 (2pk)
You'll also want to pick up some hi-temp grease # L11380 to pack your bearings and lube the spindle.
To save some money you can purchase these all together with the # BK2-100 kit that you were already looking at. You'll need two kits per axle. If you have drum brakes then you'll need to replace your brake assemblies... view full answer...
Hey Joe, thanks for reaching out!
The waste valves on the Valterra EZ Valve Double Electric Waste Valves # E84-8 are the parts that rotate. If you check out the linked photo you'll see that the Y section of this kit is in a fixed position and can't be rotated.
When I took a closer look at your photo it looks like you need a 3" and a 1.5" connection so I believe the Double RV Waste Valves # T80 would be a better fit for your setup. This has hubs for both ends so you'll need to verify those... view full answer...
Hey Paul, yes if you have something like the Adco Olefin HD RV Cover for Travel Trailers up to 20' # AD97ZR then you should have a 3 year warranty, and since you're within that range, it should be covered. view full answer...
Hey Allen! Just to be sure, have you adjusted the pin box and your 5th wheel hitch to try to lower the nose? If you haven't, I recommend doing that first. Also, are your leaf springs sitting on top of the axle? They probably are but if they aren't, you can use an over-under kit like # K71-384-00 (2-3/8" diameter axle) or # K71-385-00 (3" diameter axle) to raise the trailer.
If the leaf springs are already on top we have the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX. This will... view full answer...
I checked the Spring Loaded Pull Pins # RVLG-SPP, # LG-119113 and # UF17-943031 that we have that are designed to replace those that are on your Lippert landing gear with the 3/8" pins and they all measured at 2-5/8" long from the mounting edge to the tip of the pin. view full answer...
To find the correct replacement seal you'll need to know the profile (shape), dimensions, and how your current seal attaches. You'll also want to see if the bulb seal (round part that compresses when the trailer is closed) is separate from the wiper seal. The # SR38FR you referenced would pushes onto a track and grips it with the little "teeth" I have pictured below.
You can start pulling it up a bit to determine exactly what you have and take some pictures and send them in and I can... view full answer...
Thanks for the pictures! To replace your Dexter 13-143 equalizers you will want the E-Z Flex Equalizers item # K71-655-00. This is the exact replacement to your equalizes. They have an identical 7-3/4" bolt hole to bolt hole dimension. view full answer...
We do have one option for a 16 inch aluminum trailer wheel with 8 lugs (and 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern) that has a spoked design, which is the following:
- Aluminum Sendel Series T02 Machined Trailer Wheel # AM22662
The # AM22662 is a 16" x 6" wheel with a 7-spoke design like you were looking for. view full answer...
To get right seal you'll need to remove a portion of the seal you currently have to get the side profile. There are multiple types of applications for slide-out seals; Glue On, Peel-N-Stick, Press In, Push On, and Slide-On. There are multiple styles and measurements; some come with a bulb, some don't.
For example the Rubber Wiper Seal and Bulb for RV Slide Out # SR98FR you were looking at comes with the bulb and is a stick on design. If you can pull a couple of inches of the seal out to... view full answer...
The correct hub/drum for a Dexter 4,400 Lb Axle is the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-407-5UC3-EZ and then for the brakes you can use the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # K23-478-479. view full answer...
The 4,400 lb trailer axle is an oddball when it comes to replacement parts but the easy solution is that you'd need 3,500 lb replacement assemblies like the part # AKEBRK-35-SA for a set of left and right hand assemblies that are self adjusting. While the assembly states that it was for a 3,500 lb trailer axle the great thing is that as long as the sizes and bolt pattern match up (like they do) they will work great. The only real difference between brake assembly capacities when the sizes... view full answer...
After contacting Lippert, I found that they no longer carry a replacement part for the LCI control panel on your 2011 Open Range 5th Wheel. You may want to look for an RV salvage company that might have the part.
If you cannot find a replacement part or a repair facility, then you will need a new ground control system. If you take a measurement from your front jacks to your rear jacks and there is less than 20 feet between them, then go with Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel... view full answer...
