For your 2005 Hummer H2 with tire size 37x12.5x17 for on road use you want the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w/ Cams for Wide Base Tires - Ladder Pattern - V-Bar Link - 1 Pair # TC3835CAM, I would also get some # TCMA3 for a nice snug fit. It sounds like the trailer shop already helped rule out a few things, but before we call your Curt Spectrum # C24SV bad, I would check a couple more things.

Generally speaking, a radial tire is going to have a few improved differences when compared to a bias tire like what you currently have on your trailer. A radial tire will flex more than a bias tire, giving it better ground contact, traction and stability. They will also run a bit cooler, especially when the tire is under a heavy load. One advantage a bias tire does have over a radial is a stiffer sidewall, a feature that is useful for off road applications.

We have exactly what you need with the Yakima SkyLine Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points # Y67KB. This installs to the tracks on top of your Hummer and has a high enough weight rating to handle the Roof Nest 10 just fine. I'm not sure what mounting kit you have for your roof tent, but the crossbars on this kit only measure 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall which is pretty standard and shouldn't be giving you any mounting issues.
