You can use leaf springs that are rated higher than the axle without any issues as long as they measure the correct measurement for your trailer. For example the 6-leaf double eye spring for 7,000 lb axles part # e64SR measures 24-7/8" eye to eye. The only thing you may notice is that the ride may be a bit stiffer with the heavier rated springs.
Please keep in mind upgrading to a 8,000 lb spring may require you to switch over to slipper springs instead of double eye springs. Which is... view full answer...
Thanks for all that good info, and what you have is the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010, which you can replace with a Lippert set with a high speed motor on you RV, though you will need to have new brackets welded on. The issue is that the Ultra-Fab has an uncommon 20-1/4 inch space between the mounting brackets, while Lippert and most others have landing gear with the standard 17-1/2 inches.
So if you were okay with having new brackets welded on to meet the spacing... view full answer...
Thanks so much for the photo, it was super helpful, and what it shows is that your trailer has the Voyager WiSight Pre-Wire Plate. This will allow you to mount the Voyager WiSight camera system:
- Voyager WiSight Wireless RV Backup Camera System # ASA24YR
This camera is super easy to install because your trailer was pre-wired; all you need to do for the camera is remove the plate, which is held in by screws, and there will be a connector under the plate for the camera. Then mount the... view full answer...
For a spare tire and wheel on your 2023 Coleman Lantern 17B use the Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C - Galvanized Wheel # AM32182 or White Wheel # AM32181. view full answer...
The manufacturer unfortunately doesn't list the tire size used online so I'll need to see the code on the sidewall (pictured below) of your tire to determine the correct replacement. The Karrier # AM32182 you were looking at has a tire size of ST215/75R14. Since there are older models that have this same size it's likely going to be the same but it's definitely best to doublecheck before purchasing. If you have any preferences on wheel style/color let me know that as well. view full answer...
The best option for you is going to be to crawl under the trailer and read the tag on the center of the axle. This will tell you the weight capacity of your axle which will be needed to find the correct replacement braking assembly. I can see from the photo that you attached that your trailer uses a five bolt braking mounting flange therefore, it likely has either 6,000 lb or 7,000 lb axles. This would also make sense since you have a 3" diameter axle tube. The 4,400 lb axle capacity you... view full answer...

Definitely looks like the springs are being overloaded and need to be replaced. You can use higher rated leaf springs but, the higher you go the stiffer the ride will be.
Since we know the weight class with your axles the next step would be to measure from eyelet to eyelet to figure out the correct length. With the leaf spring being flat it's going to measure a bit longer than it typically would so we would just need to find something close to the measurement.
At 4,000lbs we have a... view full answer...

We can help you determine the correct replacement landing gear for your Monta Vista, though landing gear is a universal type of fit, and there isn't specific landing gear that fits your trailer. So in order to determine the correct replacement landing gear, all you will need you will need to do is measure the distance mounting brackets on your trailer from the underside of the top bracket to the top of the lower bracket as shown in the diagram. From there you will be able to choose the... view full answer...
The MORryde X-Factor Crossmember # MR99ZR is designed for LRE, RE, or TRE Leaf Spring Suspension systems so since you're using the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-653-00 you'll want to use the MORryde X-Factor Dropdown Crossmember # MR84AR instead.
The MORryde X-Factor Dropdown Crossmember # MR84AR has an adjustable length of 58-1/4" to 79-3/4", measures 4" down from the center of the mounting holes to the top of the crossmember, and the mounting bolt holes measure 3-3/8" apart on... view full answer...
The difference between a hub connection and a spigot connection is that the hub is the female end and has a lip on the inside that stops the spigot (or male) end where it needs to be. I have attached some pictures to assist.
With this knowledge it is just a matter of taking your valve off and choosing the correct replacement:
3" Hub to 3" Hub - # E40B-8
3" Hub to 3" Spigot - # E40-8
3" Spigot to 3" Spigot - # E40A-8
I would avoid going with the option that only has the 3" Diameter #... view full answer...
The dimensions I'm seeing for your current microwave show it being 19"W x 12" H x 14" D. The closest convection option we have to this would be the High Pointe RV Convection Microwave # HP49ZR (stainless steel) or # HP99ZR (black). These units are 20-1/2" W x 14-3/4" H x 18-11/16" D so you'd want to remove your current trim panel and measure the cutout hole to ensure that this would be a compatible fit. view full answer...
The Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Travel Trailer - Up to 37' Long - Gray # 290-52247 you ordered will be a great fit for your 2008 Dutchmen Tundra M-30QB-DSL travel trailer. The specs I'm seeing for your trailer show it being 35'-8" in length and this cover was designed for trailers 34'-37' in length. This cover is rated best for use in cooler northern climates, as you can see in the attached RV Climate Map.
If you wanted a cover that would be rated for use in all climates then I recommend... view full answer...

We have it, the etrailer Hub and Drum # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K, listed out for a 3,500 lb axle (and we break the math down on the product page) but when it comes to the hub side of things it's more about making sure it physically fits so since the bearings and seal match what you have with your #84 spindle, this hub will safely work with your 4,400 lb axles. view full answer...
Your 2022 Dutchmen Coleman Lantern 18BH will use a 5 on 4-1/2" lug bolt pattern. I recommend using the Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" White Wheel # AM32181 as a spare.
The Ultra-Fab Folding Spare Tire Carrier # UF15-954730 will allow you to mount the spare tire to your rear bumper. You will also want a Cover # 290-1736 to protect the tire from UV damage and dirt on the back of your Coleman. view full answer...
To determine if you will be able to use the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e47SR you will need to measure your current leaf springs. Unfortunately, I have no way to lookup what leaf springs your 2022 Dutchmen Coleman Light 1855RB would have come with from the factory. This leaf spring is 25-1/8" long from eye center to eye center when curved with no weight on the spring. Since you mentioned your spring is flat the length would be 25-5/8" when completely flat from eye to eye. If you find you... view full answer...
