  • Replacement For 24 Inch 3,500 lb Leaf Springs & Equalizer Upgrade
  • Thanks so much for that info, and to replace your current leaf springs that are 24 inches apart from center eye to center eye, you want springs that are slightly shorter because over time they flatten out. So for replacements I recommend 23-1/8" long springs: - 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 23-1/8" Long # e59SR Then to replace your equalizer with a MORryde equalizer, you'll want to measure your axle from center to center, which will be your wheelbase, and the correct...

  • Recommended MouseBlocker Deterrent Systems for Protecting Stored Cars
  • Yes, you do Fred. You're definitely going to want to use two of the MouseBlocker Classic Electronic Rodent Deterrent item # MB44FR in your Challenger. This will keep them out of both areas of your car. They each pull 0.1 watts so you'll want to start your Challenger and let run every couple of months depending on what size battery you have. As far as your garage goes, you could install the MouseBlocker Classic Electronic Rodent Deterrent item # MB44FR in your vehicles but I recommend...

  • Trailer Hitch For 2023 Dodge Challenger GT AWD
  • Hello Stephen. For your 2023 Dodge Charger GT AWD I recommend the Curt Class 3 Hitch # C13236. I double checked with Curt and they confirmed it will fit the GT model whether it is the dual or quad tip exhaust. Basically, it will fit all models of the 2023 Challenger except for the Demon, Hellcat and SRT models. To answer your other question, the quad tip models will have 4 exhaust tips (2 on each side), while the non quad tip models will simply have 1 tip on each side.

  • Will Curt Multi Fit Hitch C13900 Fit A 2019 Dodge Challenger?
  • Hello Stephen, thanks for reaching out. Curt actually makes a custom fit hitch for the 2019 Dodge Challenger part # C13236. Installation does require the muffler to be removed and reattached. The # C13900 you mentioned is a universal hitch, so I do not have any specific fitment information for this hitch on a Challenger. In all likelihood the installation steps would be the same as the custom hitch and you would have to remove the exhaust, only the universal hitch will be harder to make...

  • What Does Curt Trailer Hitch C13236 Look Like Installed on a 2017 Dodge Challenger
  • I have included a picture showing what Curt trailer hitch # C13236 looks like installed on a 2017 Dodge Charger. I think that the hitch and its positioning match the lines of the vehicle quite well which is not normally the case with trailer hitches. But this one blends nicely. If you plan on doing some towing I recommend Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 1" Rise, 2-1/4" Drop - 7-5/8" Long - 7,500 lbs Item # C45030. It will accept a hitch ball with a 1 inch diameter shank such as # 63845...

  • Will the Trailer Hitch for a 2019 Dodge Challenger Work with Aftermarket Exhaust
  • In order to install a trailer hitch on a 2019 Dodge Challenger with aftermarket exhaust, the best option we have for you is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13236 not the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76145. The Curt hitch as you can see has a smaller bracket profile than the Draw-Tite hitch so there will be a better chance of compatibility. That said, there would not be a way to confirm fit as none of the trailer hitch manufactures do any test fitting with...

  • Would I Be Able to Mount a Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack On My 2013 Dodge Challenger
  • Hey, Denis! That’s a great question, I’m glad you asked, because both clearance and weight matter here. Clearance-wise, the Draw-Tite hitch #76145 will work, as you’ll need at least 6 inches to clear the bumper. The Kuat NV 2.0 Base, part # BA22B, measures 11-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when it’s folded down. That means even with bikes loaded, you’ll have plenty of room and no bumper contact. When the rack is folded up, that distance...

  • Heavy Gauge Wiring For Lighting Functions on Trailer
  • The 4 pole wiring harnesses we offer for trailers are pretty consistent when it comes to the wire gauge. The right turn/brake, left turn/brake and running lamp circuit wires are typically 18 gauge and the ground wire is typically 16 gauge. This is pretty much industry standard. However, the Hopkins Easy-Pull harness, part # HM38136 has a design that will eliminate the typical failure point of a 4 pole trailer harness, which is the point where the harness meets the plug. The plug features...

  • Which Hitch and Bike Rack Should I Get To Carry E-Bikes On My 2014 Dodge Challenger?
  • First let's get a hitch that will fit with your Borla exhaust but also have good ground clearance. The Curt Hitch Reciever Part # C13236 will give you 9-1/2" of ground clearance. Now, let's find a rack with the most ground clearance. The Inno Tire Hold 2 is going to be able to carry two electric bikes with a weight of 50lbs so you will be plenty good when it comes to weight capacity. This Rack has a rise in the shank so it sits higher than your hitch receiver when hauling. If you are still...

  • Most Concealed Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT
  • All of the hitch receivers available for your 2016 Dodge Challenger will show some of the cross tube. However, the Curt Class II # C12064 and Curt Class III # C13093 do have the receiver opening welded under the tube unlike the Draw-Tite Class II # 36548 which is welded even with the cross tube.. None of them completely conceal it up under the fascia. The Class II is a 1-1/4 inch receiver and the Class III is a 2 inch receiver. You should also know that Curt requries the use a stablizer...

  • Does 2019 Dodge Challenger Curt Hitch 12064 Fit Quad Tip and Non-Quad Models
  • I apologize for the confusion, but basically the Curt hitch part # C12064 fits both the the quad tip and non-quad tip versions of the 2019 Dodge Challenger so it will fit and work well for you. I attached an install video link to this page plus a picture of what it looks like installed for you to check out too.

  • How Much Clearance From Hitch Pin Hole on Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver.
  • You will want to measure the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper. The Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter # PH54FR has 3-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the angled brace for the shank, so you're going to need at least that distance from your bumper to the hitch pin hole. Since this doesn't come with any security features, I do recommend adding a hitch lock like the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch with Best Ground Clearance for 2017 Dodge Challenger
  • We have had a chance to install the available trailer hitches for your Dodge Challenger on the 2018 model. Based on the measurements we took during those installs, the trailer hitch that is going to allow for the best ground clearance on your vehicle is the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13236. I also went out to our warehouse to take a quick measurement on this hitch from the mounting brackets down to the bottom portion of the receiver. I measured this distance to be 8-3/4 inches....

  • Can Rear Diffusers be Kept When Installing Trailer Hitch on 2020 Dodge Challenger
  • Thanks for the photo, and the rear diffusers on your 2020 Dodge Challenger would have to be removed in order to install a hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13236 which fits your car. Based on the photo, the diffusers go under the bumper a bit, so they would likely interfere with the hitch. It would be close, but from looking at the photo I think they would have to come off. I have added a link below to a video install for you to check out as well of the Curt Trailer Hitch...

  • Separating Stop and Turn Signals on 2012 Dodge Challenger
  • Yes, the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # C56196 will allow you to separate your stop and turn signals on your 2012 Dodge Challenger. Please keep in mind it is recommended you use Diodes # 48955 to prevent power feedback. I have added a link to a video review of the converter for you to check out as well.

  • Parts Needed for 2017 Dodge Challenger to Tow Trailer
  • It's a combination of a few things, but the only people who will be able to give you the green light to tow with your car will be Dodge as they rated it, engineered it, and will be who would have to honor the warranty of the vehicle. Clearly you have the drivetrain to tow with your Challenger, but the other things to consider is the cooling capacity of the engine and transmission, the brake power, the frame strength, suspension components etc. That said we have a 2 inch hitch that fits...

  • What is the Height of the Draw-Tite # 76145 on a 2016 Dodge Challenger for Choosing a Ball Mount
  • When we installed the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76145 on a 2018 Dodge Challenger we found that from the ground to the top of the inside of the receiver measured 9-1/4" as you can see in the attached photo. It might be a little different for your 2016 Challenger but this should give you a ballpark idea of what you need. You will also need the T-One # 118656 wiring and a ball mount to tow. I have also attached an installation video for you to reference as well as a link...

  • Recommended Hitch for a Bike Rack on a 2010 Dodge Challenger
  • I have a solution for you but the Curt Trailer Hitch item # 13465 will not give you enough clearance to mount the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes item # SH22B. The hitch pin hole sits too far underneath your car when installed. Instead you will want the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch item # 76145. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Challenger with included hardware. The hitch pin hole sits 6" from the edge of your bumper and the closest part of the Sherpa 2.0 when folded up is...

  • How Visible is Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2017 Dodge Challenger
  • Unfortunately, we haven't had the chance to install the Draw-Tite # 36548 on a Dodge Challenger and the submitted photos are all older than what you're looking for. With that being said, the look of the hitch on your 2017 probably won't be a lot different. The receiver tube comes straight out of the cross beam so it will likely still be pretty visible under the rear bumper like in the picture.

  • Recommended Towing Setup for 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT
  • For your 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13093. This hitch receiver weighs 39 lbs. I then recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118656 for your trailer wiring. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Dodge Challenger's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to...
