Probably the easiest way to get to the wires to install the trailer wiring harness # C59496 is to pretend as if you were going to have to change out a tail light bulb (or LED panels or bulbs). There is a process to follow to access them.

Although it is not required by law, you can indeed tie in the third brake lamp so that it operates when your SRX is connected to the motorhome. You will need an additional diode, part # RM-790 to prevent backfeed into the SRX. The diode would be wired as shown in the diagram I have produced for you.

The Draw-Tite # 75682 Class III hitch installs using six M12x1.75x40 hex bolts.
It's extremely unlikely that the previous hitch shipped out with the wrong bolts. Late model Cadillac vehicles can have hard-to-access lighting components as you will find if you do an internet search on the subject. I suggest you check your vehicle warranty on this because the GMPP (General Motors Protection Plan) does possibly cover LED-type lighting assemblies. It does exclude "bulbs" and "sealed beams" but LEDs are neither of those so they may be covered by the GMPP. Check with your local dealer on this.

Getting to the wiring for the reverse light if the reverse light is in a hatch such as on your 2008 Cadillac SRX can be challenging. But that wiring has to exit the hatch and go into the rest of the vehicle so you should be able to locate the wire at that point. This is normally at the top of the hatch. The wires will all be covered so you will have to cut a slit in the protective cover to access the wires. I looked at the instructions for the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit for 5th Wheel RVs part # LC191024 and they state to measure from the rear side of the electric jack leg 27-3/4” and place a mark on the bottom of the main rails. Therefore, so long as you have space on the frame in this location there should not be an issue with the extended bracket (as long as it's factory) as the mounts swivel.
