Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at the SteelHead LED Spot Beam Work Light. If you're looking for a heavy duty work light, that's going to offer you a focused beam of light, so you can see things at a distance in the dark. This might be a good light for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at it together. Now this light's gonna light up your industrial and agricultural and recreational situations, and it's gonna be great to mount on your work truck or utility vehicles, or maybe even on your fishing boat.

Let me give you a brief demonstration here of what this looks like lit up. And so I'm gonna keep my studio lights on here for a second, so you can see just how bright this is. Now let me go ahead and turn my lights off and you get a better idea of the brightness of this light on my table here, and almost completely washes out my hand, it's so bright. Let me zoom out here and just shine this on my wall behind me and you can see that focused beam that this light gives off. It's a very nice, bright white beam of light.

Now these six diodes are going to give you 1,900 Lumens. That's gonna be the light output and LEDs on this light are premium LEDs and they are gonna be energy efficient, and they're gonna also be resistant to vibration as well. And even with my studio lights on you can see just how bright this is. Let me go ahead and turn the power off here and give you another closer look. Now this light is rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation, and it features a sealed waterproof housing that has this nice, clear lens over the white LEDs.

This does have an IP rating of 68. And what that means for you is that it can withstand dust and dirt and sand. It's gonna be resistant up to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes. The circuit board within is of a military grade construction. And the urethane potting is gonna offer you better protection than the common epoxy potting in controlling the heat transfer inside.

And speaking of heat, as you can see, this does have thermal regulation to protect against overheating. And the housing of this light is aluminum with this nice white powder coated finish over that housing. So this light is gonna be lightweight yet durable and resistant to rust and corrosion. This light is compatible with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. It's gonna be an easy installation. This comes with the hardware that you are going to need to install this to your vehicle. And this is gonna be a single bolt installation that comes with this bracket here with the bolt to attach it to the light, and then this single bolt to attach it to your vehicle. This hardware is stainless steel. And once you do have this installed, once. When you do have this installed, you will be able to adjust the angle of the light as needed. This will hardwire to your vehicle, and as you can see, it's a two wire installation. The black wire is going to be ground. The white wire in the case of this light is gonna be your power wire. Let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements of this light, and I'm gonna be measuring from the outermost portions of the body of this light. Overall we're gonna be sitting right at six inches, probably a little over, closer to six and one eighth inches. And then the overall height of this light, including the bracket, I'm gonna be including the base of that bracket. We're gonna be sitting right at three inches. And then just the light itself, we're gonna be sitting right at two inches. And then the depth of this light, we're gonna be sitting right at two inches deep, two inches deep, and the wire length is gonna be sitting right at 10 inches long. Here we go, right at 10 inches long. Now the input voltage of this light is gonna be 9 to 30 volts. And the power draw at 12 volts is gonna be 1.2 amps. And at 24 volts it is going to be 0.6 amps.
