Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at and showing you how to install these ClearPlus Winter Wiper Blades on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the existing blades on your Jeep. And they're gonna beat that same 16 inch long size for both the driver and the passenger side. Install the exact same way and we'll show you the process on the driver's side and compare it to the existing wiper blades on our passenger side.
Now, the reason you might want a winter wiper blade is really because of the design here. You can see we've got a frame style underneath, but we've got a synthetic rubber boot over top of that. That's gonna make sure that nothing gets gunked up inside of the frame, whether it be snow or ice. And the taller profile is gonna help pushing a small amount of snow. So if it does end up piling up on your windshield, it's gonna be able to get through that.
Installing, it's gonna be really straightforward. And, like I said, a direct replacement for your existing blade. Lay down a towel or something in case this does fall down, you've got a layer of protection between it and our windshield. We don't want that cracking. And there's a tab here that will press towards the hook and push the existing blade off, setting it to the side.
The new one will install the exact same way that the old one was using that hook to push in. And when you're doing this, just make sure that stays straight and you hear it click in, just like that. We can move our towel out of the way, carefully set it down and do a quick comparison. We'll see if anything skips or streaks. So I'll turn this on and run the blades.
And overall, I'm not hearing any skipping or streaking from the new blade. But I am seeing some streaking and seeing some skipping on the existing blade that we just replaced. So these are definitely doing their job as a replacement blade. Getting a bit of a cleaner windshield. And, they're doing a good job of not leaving any streaks behind. Which, for me, does its job. These are really easy to replace. It only takes a couple of minutes and it's gonna help get you good visibility when you're going down the road. And with these ones specifically, it's gonna help you out in those winter months. I think either way you go, it makes it a great addition to your Gladiator. Thanks for watching..
