All right everyone. It's that time of the year. Our wiper blades weren't really doing the job we really needed to, so we're just going to go ahead and replace them with some ClearPlus wiper blades. They're going to be all season for our 2019 Toyota Highlander and first thing we need to do is just take off the old ones. To do that you're going to flip up this little tab there. That's going to allow us just to slide it up and out like so.
Be mindful putting this down. You don't want this metal to be hitting your glass directly so I want to do it in one swap. So right here, just maneuver it in there, just like that. Give it a good wiggle, make sure it's nice and in place and then we're pretty much done.We'll go over some of the differences here. This one's going to be not a completely plastic housing but it still is going to flex a little bit just like our old one.
As you can see there, it is going to flex towards the curvature of our windshield and it's going to have an all metal frame. And a lot of holes in it too so it's going to be aerodynamic as well. So some of these plastic ones that we have are going to be fading over time, and that's not necessarily something that we want. So luckily with the all metal frame, it's going to be a little bit nicer and just withstand that sun over time. Other than that, there's really not much else to really go over.
They're going to get the job done through all the different seasons.So whatever season it may be and your wiper blades are pretty much shot, these all season ClearPlus blades are going to be the choice for you, I think, just because they're going to get the job done. Nothing special but nothing too crazy. Also, one thing to note on our Highlander here, we're going to need a 20 inch and the 26 inch. So we showed you guys how to do the smaller 20 inch on the passenger side but the 26 inch will go on the driver's side. It's going to be the same exact installation process on both sides..

I haven't put the wipers on yet. But the prices were very good especially for the popular name brands. Didn't like that they didn't carry all of the ones on their website though. But at least they were good enough to call me and tell me they couldn't ship it and offered one that was compatible to the one I ordered. All in all it was a good experience.
