Hello, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Scrub Blade Shade Blade Windshield Wiper Hybrid Style 26-inch, blue in color. Let's take a look. So like I said, this is blue in color as you can see there. So you want to add some style, some pizazz, some pop to your ride, your daily vehicle, or just your show car, this would be the guy to get, so kind of match your paint color if that's your thing, or give it a nice accent depending on what your style is. So this is an all weather hybrid style wiper.
It has dual blades to provide crystal clear visibility. It's gonna have an outer blade that's gonna scrub away mud, bugs, and road grime, and then that secondary blade down there is gonna have the remaining water and debris cleared away for you for your superior visibility. Now zooming in here, you can kind of see those triangular raised portions on the blade itself. That's their patented scrubbers and they work really well. On both sides of those blades, they're gonna cut through the toughest road grime.
The blades are silicone and they do have a ceramic coating that's gonna ensure you a quiet chatter-free operation over time. Now being that they are silicone, they're gonna hold up to the heat and the UV rays as well. That's definitely what you want. A very flexible blade. They will contour to the shape of any windshield out there.
They do have a nice rubber coating over the top of the bar here. That's gonna also help with preventing wind lift, they call it. So you don't want your blade lifting up while you're driving and shattering and all that kind of crazy stuff. This will prevent that. Now the center attachment point here is interchangeable, or rather you can put different attachments that you see before you inside there to make it fit to your specific vehicle.
It does come with a nice set of instructions. Make sure you read those. That's gonna help you match up all those attachments, whichever one you need, for your specific vehicle. And it should be a very easy installation. This will fit most wiper arm styles out there. Again, blue, 26-inch long. You're gonna get one blade with purchase. Well, that's gonna do it. I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Thanks again for looking at this 26-inch blue wiper blade.

Hey Daron. I'm going to have to try these! I need to replace mine and was looking for something that would help with the grime we get here in Missouri.

That film could be from a rain repellent on your windshield, but I have confirmed that Scrubblade does not coat their wipers with Rain-X coating. They said that if it is raining, you should use wiper fluid to minimize noise. In a heavy rain, squeaking her and there is normal for any blade; but it should not be constant and loud with each swipe. If you would like to try rotating the wiper 180 degrees when issues like this occur, that can help fix the pressure points and allow the blade to make better contact. All you have to do is rotate the adapter located in the middle of the blade itself. There are two pinch tabs underneath the blade in the middle. Pinch these together and pull up on the adapter and it will come off. Rotate the adapter 180 degrees and reinstall the wiper as you did before.
