Video Transcript for Setting up the ClearPlus Intelli Curve Windshield Wiper Blade on your 2018 Chrysler 300

Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. And today, we're taking look at the ClearPlus Intelli Curve windshield wiper blades on our 2018 Chrysler 300. Now, this can be a great way of replacing those old blades that maybe aren't quite doing the job anymore. You know, our rubber just ain't getting a good spread here.

We just actually need to start replacing those and getting a good blade. Now, the ClearPlus is gonna offer you some obvious advantages here. With that Intelli Curve, you can see that we are gonna get a constant pressure across the entirety of the windshield as we go across. So, hopefully, we're gonna have a streak-free, smooth, clean sweep as we cross our windshield. Now, let's go ahead and start taking this off and get it on.

Now, I always start with having maybe a towel or some kind of foam blocker underneath this windshield blade. Now keep in mind, you are dealing with a metal spring here, so we don't want this snapping down while we're replacing this and damaging our windshield. And being a little extra careful never hurts. Now, here's where things might be a little different at home. This is our old blade on here.

Looks like we just have a Michelin J-style hook on here. So, to actually get this off, there's just gonna be a little tab that we need to press. That's gonna go ahead and let us slide down on this hook. Now, you can see this is how our J-style hook is sitting in there. You can see that this adapter, it just slides right on the top there, and that's how we hooked it off.

And there was just a little plastic tab to push in to help get that off. Now, things might be a little different at home for you just depending on what old style wiper you have. Taking a look at our ClearPlus Intelli Curve though, you can see we have a similar adapter at the top here. Now, it does come with a bunch of different adapters as well if for some reason your blade is gonna be a little different. However, for our frame today, we are gonna be utilizing the J-style. So, we're gonna go ahead and take it like so. Making sure that curve is available to us. Getting this inserted like so. And then, just pulling up. So, we hear that click. And you see, that's gonna be doing a good job of binding that in. So, that's what just kind of give a little pressure, and it'll get past those flanges. And now, we can go ahead and set it down. Here we are on the passenger side. Gonna be doing about the same steps. Again, making sure we have some protection underneath our blade. And again, on our old guy here. He's got a little tab that we're gonna have to push down to slide it off like so. Let's take our Intelli Curve. Make sure adapter stays in the right way. Pull until we hear it click. We can see it's gonna pivot on there quite nicely. And we're ready to wipe. Here we are in the inside. Just gonna simulate a little bit of rain. As you can see, doing a good job pulling it up and getting it off of our windshield. Very clean. No streaks on it. Good coverage on the entirety of the windshield. Well, that about does it for that installation. As you can see, very, very simple to do, and we are getting a very good coverage on that entirety of the windshield. I really like how the Intelli Curve goes ahead. Just has a outer housing to make sure we're having constant pressure on the entirety of the blade. As you could see, doing a good job not leaving any streaks or really any kind of debris left in the back, so I know it's gonna be doing a very good job for us.
