A front-mounted plow or heavy bumper can pull the nose of your truck down and throw off how it drives. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System adds 6,500 lbs of load-leveling support to keep that front end sitting right where it should. With the ride height steady, your steering stays predictable, and your headlights stay aimed where you need them—no more sagging or bottoming out when the weight goes on.
Hard braking or rough roads can make the front end dive or bounce, especially under load. These hollow Aeon rubber springs react progressively: soft enough to cushion light bumps yet firm when the weight increases. The result is flatter, more controlled braking and a smoother ride that keeps you planted instead of pitching forward every time you stop.
No compressors, no valves, no pressure checks—just a solid setup that’s ready to go every time you start the truck. The self-contained rubber springs work automatically as your suspension compresses, giving you extra support without the hassle of adjustments or leaks. Once installed, there’s nothing more to manage or maintain.
This system bolts directly into the spot where your OEM bump stops sit, so you’re not drilling holes or modifying anything. It’s a straightforward upgrade you can handle with basic tools, perfect for adding front-end support before winter work or heavy hauling days.
Cold mornings, road salt, and constant impact are tough on suspension parts, but these all-weather rubber springs are made for it. They stay flexible in freezing temperatures and resist cracking or corrosion over time. Whether you’re pushing through slush or tackling uneven ground, they keep doing their job season after season without wearing out.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Timbren in front suspension enhancement system. Now, this has been designed to fit your 2024 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 35 hundreds, both the two and four wheel drive models and on custom fit parts such as this kit. I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
So as you know, adding the snow plow or heavy front bumpers can cause your truck to sag in the front, and that's gonna mess up your ride height and visibility. So with a massive 6,500 pound load support rating, this system is going to keep your front end level so your headlights are gonna stay aimed right and your truck drives like it should no matter what's hanging off the front. As you probably already know, hard braking or sudden stops can cause your truck to nose dive, especially under a load. These eon rubber springs have a progressive rate that's going to absorb small bumps, but get firmer under heavier compression, helping keep your truck flat and planted when it counts. So what's nice about this a system like this is you're not gonna have to worry about monitoring air pressure, running lines, or dealing with a compressor.
These rubber springs are solid, they're self-contained and already always ready for you. You're just gonna install these, forget about them, and head on down the road. So these are gonna be perfect if you want added support without adding the complexity under the hood. Another nice thing is you're not gonna have to drill, cut, or modify your suspension on your truck. These springs are going to bolt right into the spot where your bump stops sit.
So that's gonna make upgrade very straightforward on your truck and it's gonna be very easy to get these installed in place for those rough winter jobs or farm duty. Now speaking of winter, if your truck lives in the cold, like road salt slush or sub-zero mornings, then these springs are made to handle that kind of stuff. The rubber construction is always gonna stay flexible in the cold. It's gonna resist cracking and corrosion over time. So whether you're plowing a tight driveway or hauling tools down a back road, extra weight up front can throw off that balance.
But again, these springs are gonna cut down that body roll and front end sway so your steering feels more responsive and the truck is going to track straighter even when fully loaded. Instructions are included to guide you through that pretty simple installation process. Now, as I mentioned, this is going to give you up to 6,500 pounds of load leveling support, but be aware that these do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. If you do pick this up, we wanna hear back from you regarding how the installation went and how you enjoy using these so you can share your experiences with us and more by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. And if you have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us via phone, email, or chat. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Glad we had the right fit for you Tom! Where are you located, and how much snow did you get this last season?

I hear you, and that makes sense based on what you’re describing. If the Timbrens are in constant contact, they’re basically always engaged, which is why the front end feels so stiff instead of only firming up under load. You might actually be a really good candidate for SumoSprings part # SSF-281-47 (as long as your truck is a 2WD) They’re a similar concept but made from a softer, more progressive material, so they compress more gradually instead of feeling like a hard stop. That usually gives you support when you need it without taking away all the ride comfort like you’re experiencing now. Glad to hear the install went smoothly and the quality was there, that’s pretty typical with Timbren, it just comes down to how they behave on your specific setup. What were you mainly trying to improve up front, sag, handling, or just a smoother ride overall?

The timbren springs are working out better than expected. I installled new Monroe matic RV shocks front and rear on my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 just prior to putting the timbrens on the front and the sumo springs on the rear and the ride is great especially with a load or hauling my travel trailer and the ride is just as smooth empty. I highly recommend the timbren and sumo springs because they fit by application and there is nothing additional to buy. Thanks etrailer.

I have upgraded towards trailing with my truck camper Artic Fox 990. I have not had the time to reach to etrailer for a solution with my 1998 Dodge 2500 timbrens installation. I have a new addition and will install the timbrens on a F-550 to have the same travel assurance...Pre trip test run to Key West early this winter... Anchorage 2024 Spring...Thank you etrailer

Still going strong. The ride is a little bumpy but when I tow the truck doesn’t feel “squishy” whenever I make my turns. I’m still super happy about the product.

Great product. Very solid and holding up well in my motorhome. My friend has sumo springs and they have a softer ride, but they had to be replaced after a few years, due to his weight distribution. Mt Timbrens seem much stronger. A little bit firmer ride, but the shocks balance that out. I would buy them again.
