20,000-lb Capacity. These hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to help stabilize and level your Tiffin Allegro Motorhome. They also provide a more comfortable ride by absorbing road shock and improving roll stability. Easy to install and use.

Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or you're towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above the rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's side or passenger's side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because the vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer, and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi), because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall when loaded. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride when loaded or towing because the rubber has more travel.

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Timbren rear suspension enhancement system. This system is designed to work with the vehicles that you see on the screen there with year range and models. It will work with your 2002 through 2020 Freightliner M2 as well as your 2009 through 2020 Freightliner Columbia. Your 2000 through 2019 Western Star 4,900 and your 1996 to 2005 Sterling L-Line L85.
So if you have one of those vehicles, obviously, you're hauling some heavy loads, some big trailers. An enhancement to your suspension system is going to do a lot of good for you. It's going to help make your ride more comfortable, help reduce some of that body roll and sway, and help to eliminate the transfer of your trailer's side to side movement to your truck. This is going to be a great option for you. These are custom brackets, so there is going to be a little bit of drilling into the frame of your truck. A little bit of welding to do but, overall, very simple installation.
Once you get that welding and drilling done, it's basically just a bolt on application. It's going to be very easy to get these installed. These are rubber springs so they're going to do a good job of absorbing a lot of road shock for you, helping to just support your suspension system on your truck. These do provide 20,000 pounds of support. Keep in mind that does not increase your load carrying capacity, sometimes confusing.
Think of it less like these are providing a second set of hands that would help you lift more. Think of them more like a back strap. They're going to support your suspension system, not to increase how much it can carry but just to make sure that it's carrying that load safely so that you have longevity of your suspension system and your overall truck. These do work independently because they are on either side. There's no connection between them. When you take a corner or big gust of wind or something pushes your truck offset, it's going to activate one and not both.
It's going to give you a lot of stability, help reduce that body roll and sway that you can often get. Because these are a rubber spring, they are going to compress gradually. If you have a light load on them, they're just going to compress a little bit but the heavier the load on there, the more they're going to compress, the stiffer they're going to get to provide more and more support for you.Overall, if you're going to be doing some over the road trucking some long distances or just have lots of heavy loads all the time, these are going to be a great option. Make the ride a lot more comfortable for you, help support your truck and just do a good job overall. That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
I have not fully loaded my Odyssey yet BUT compare to original “pacifiers” which are made from kinda tough popcorn, those timbers are looking reliable.
Easy installation. Good quality.
Easy to install. Works as advertised. Etrailer rocks!
Installed this on my 2001 Explorer. Install is easy (assemble unit, bolt on in place of existing bump stop). Annoyed to find it doesn't fit. Specs are gap 1/2"-1-1/2"; there was a gap of 2-3/4". Yeah, they sell spacers for $27 each, but it's really annoying to buy a $225 product that says it fits your truck, only to find that you have to spend 50% more to actually adapt it to your truck!
Very easy to install. I got the product in two days. Love etrailer products. THANKS.
Very easy to install took about 30 minutes. If it manages the weight of my trailer I will be more impressed with your product.
Install was a breeze, can't wait to tow our camper with these babies on the Tundra
Fast shipping would definitely recommend
Quick delivery and exactly as described!
Very easy installation!
Very poor packaging. The box is coming apart and USPS reinforced it. Found out this product doesn,t work on a 2018 Winnebago Intent. It will cost me almost $[XX] to return it.
Shipping was fast, product looks to be well made.
Customer service was great. Fast delivery. Very easy to install. 35 minutes it was done.
Easy installation and perfect fit!
Perfect fit for my 2024 Toyota Tundra rear suspension. I tow a trailer every weekend and after installing this rear suspension suppport upgrade, no more squat or swag on truck bed
easy to install, Solved my trailer bouncing over bumps problem.
Very quick delivery, earlier than I expected. Easy to install. Just what was needed for rear weight support when pulling a trailer.
Great job. Will use etrailer again.
Great product there leveled the load and made tow way better.
Thanks
Got them a day ago and installed the next day. Super easy installation.
What a great product. This has made a night and day difference pulling a 5th wheel.
Really not sure it's doing anything. No noticeable difference when towing my camper.
Part was reasonably priced and arrived early. Very happy with the process.
Service is great and product appears to function as advertised. For what it is seems like product is priced a little high. I'd be very surprised if it costs more than $20 to make them.
I bought a set for my F250 and like them so much that I bought a set for my F350. It prevents the vehicle from sagging in the rear when hauling towing heavy objects. Makes for a smoother and more stable riding experience.
