Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha XD Pro, Rear Axle, Double Convoluted Air Bag Suspension Kit with Internal Jounce Bumpers. Now, this kit has been designed to fit your 2011 to 2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duties, either with a two or a four-wheel-drive. This will also work with your 2011 to 2014 F-450 Super Duty. Again, with either the two or four-wheel-drive. And I do wanna point out, as you see there on your screen, this will fit models with or without a fifth wheel hitch.

Now, when your load gets heavy, your truck is gonna need more than just those factory rear springs hanging on for dear life. These air bags are going to give you up to 7,500 pounds of rear axle support, keeping your truck level and steady even when your trailer is loaded and the bed is packed and the miles are long. Now, you're not gonna have to worry about any more rear-end sag throwing off your braking and steering or your headlights pointing up to the sky.

Now, as you know, bottoming out just doesn't feel rough, it can indeed wreck your air bags. That's why these springs include internal jounce bumpers inside of each bag, as you can see on that cutaway there. So even with no air pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net. So because of those internal jounce bumpers, you can safely run at zero psi when unloaded, which means no harsh rebound, just that smooth factory-style ride. If you're heading to work with an empty bed or cruising home after dropping the trailer, your truck's gonna stay comfortable, controlled, and ready to haul again with just a quick bump in the pressure.

And of course, every haul is different. That's why these air springs give you full control over ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from 5 to 100 psi. So if you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you can crank up the pressure, and then when you're unloaded and heading home, you can drop it back down for a more softer ride. The manual inflation valves are included. Tuning your suspension for the day's work is gonna be very easy, very straightforward.

Extreme hauling does demand extreme durability. These springs are built with one inch thick corrosion-resistant end caps that you can't see 'cause they do kind of have them loosely assembled here. But the bags are also reinforced with 20 internal support wires for maximum strength under that heavy load. And then at the top and the bottom here, we have these heavy-duty roll plates that are gonna protect the bags from chafing and help extend their lifespan. These powder-coated steel, custom fit brackets are gonna fight back against rust, corrosion, so these are gonna be able to handle any type of weather or road conditions. These precision laser-cut brackets are designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points without welding or drilling to your frame. Now, I don't have it on my table here, but I am showing you a picture of all of the hardware that's going to be included with this kit. So like I said, you're not gonna have to worry about welding or drilling. You're just going to install this with the hardware that you see there and just supply your tools, and it's going to be good to go. So this kit is designed to work with your setup today or wherever your upgrades are gonna take you tomorrow. Again, you're gonna be able to inflate manually with standard air valves right out of the box, no extra parts needed. But maybe you already have an onboard compressor. If you do, that's great because these are gonna connect easily to most existing setups. And then maybe you're planning for something like an in-cab wireless controller down the road. That's not gonna be an issue with this kit because you're laying the foundation. The foundation's gonna already be built-in, making it very easy to expand your control options when you're ready. So as I mentioned, the load support is up to 7,500 pounds, but do be aware of the fact that these do not increase your weight-carrying capacity on your truck, so you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding the manufacturer's recommended weight limit.
