Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro Rear Axle Double-Convoluted Air Bag Suspension Kit. Now, this has been designed to fit the 2007 and newer Sprinters. As you can see there on your screen, I'm putting a more detailed list of all the Sprinters that this kit will work with. Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.

So, as you know, your factory suspension can struggle under real-world loads. If you're delivering cargo, towing a trailer, or building out a full van conversion, these springs are going to add 5,000 pounds of rear support. This is gonna help you keep your Sprinter level and composed when the weight adds up. So you're not gonna have to worry about any more dragging at the end or sloppy cornering or headlight glare that's gonna blind oncoming traffic. These are gonna give you a stronger stance, more predictable handling, and peace of mind when you're behind the wheel of your Sprinter.

Now, bottoming out just doesn't feel rough, it can wreck your air bags. That's why this system includes internal jounce bumpers inside of each bag. So even with no pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net. So you're gonna be able to safely run at 0 psi when unloaded, which means no harsh rebound, just that smooth factory-style ride. Now, a cargo run doesn't ride the same as a weekend trip, and your suspension should reflect that.

With air pressure adjustability from 5 to 100 psi, you're going to be able to fine tune that support based on how much gear you're hauling. You can drop the pressure when you're running light for a smoother ride or pump it up when the van is packed full. So the manual inflation valves are gonna keep it effective and easy to manage on your own terms. So from long-haul deliveries to off-grid trails, your van is going to see more than just perfect pavement, and this system is built for that. These air bags are reinforced all the way through with heavy-duty endcaps, 20 internal support wires, we talked about the integrated jounce bumpers, and then these powder-coated steel brackets, and then corrosion-resistant hardware.

I don't have it all on the table here before me, but I do have a pretty good photo here of all the hardware that's going to be included with this kit. The hardware is corrosion-resistant. And it's gonna come with everything that you need to get this installed into place. The precision laser-cut brackets are designed to bolt cleanly to your Sprinter's factory mounting points with limited drilling required. So with those high-quality fittings and mounting hardware included, you're gonna be able to get these installed, and then get on down the road. So a nice thing about this kit is it's designed to work with your setup right now, and then wherever your upgrades may take you down the road. Again, you're gonna be able to inflate manually with standard air valves right out of the box, no extra parts needed. But maybe you already have an onboard compressor, that's great, because this system is going to connect easily to most existing setups that are out there. And then maybe you're planning for something down the road, like an in-cab wireless controller. That's not gonna be an issue, because the foundation's already being built in with this kit, making it easy to expand your control options when you're ready. So, as I mentioned, this is going to give you up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling support. But be aware of the fact that this kit doesn't actually increase your Sprinter's weight carrying capacity.
