Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 5,000 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 4,565 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 4,033 lumens.

I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be looking at the 9007 LED bulbs and harnesses.This is going to be a great option for those who want to replace their existing bulbs with something a bit brighter and more durable. These are going to be a very bright light. They're going to be great for off-road use or use in the country or rural areas. Also, they can be used as headlight or high beams for your vehicle. Not really intended for city use or highway use because they are going to be very, very bright, so keep that in mind.They are custom fit.
Again, they are 9007 style, so that should match up with your vehicle's existing wiring. So it's just a plug and play application.And then the harnesses that come with it are going to prevent any kind of flickering that can happen if you have a inaudible 00:00:46 or PWM-equipped vehicle. Easiest way to figure out if these are a fit for you if you don't already know is to use our fit guide here at etrailer.com, if you haven't done so already. Put in your year, make, and model and then find the vehicle lights category and then go from there.So let's take a look at what comes in the kit and make sure that this is everything that you need. So we'll have our two bulbs and then the two harnesses.
We'll also have some double-sided foam tape to hold that harness in place and a couple of small zip ties as well. You get some instructions. They're right there, and then we also get a nice fun sticker which is always cool to see.I'm going to hook one of these up to power so that you can see roughly how it looks whenever it's turned on. Now again, this is a custom fit design, so you don't have to worry about doing anything like this. This is just my mock-up while I'm in the studio here, and this does have some cool features to help prevent any kind of overheating.So once this turns on, you'll hear the fan kick on as well.
It has an integrated cooling fan, so it prevents any kind of damage from overheating, so it's going to keep it working well for many years to come and prevent any kind of premature failure.Going to turn that on. It's going to be very bright. Now you can hear the fan going. It also has an aluminum design, so that helps to dissipate the heat nicely as well. Turn the lights out in the studio so you can see just how bright that is and whiten up a little bit so you can kind of see how well it illuminates.This is just all on its own without any kind of direction from your housing.
So usually when these lights are put in place, they actually have that reflective material to help direct and reflect the light as well, so it kind of amplifies it.This also has a high beam function, so it just kind of changes the direction of the light. It's pretty subtle here, so hard to really tell just here at my studio set-up.So as I mentioned, very bright light. Definitely a great option if you want to alleviate that real country dark that you might experience while you're out in rural areas.Again, plug and play application. It is IP65 rated, so that means it's going to be impervious to dust and also resistant to any kind of water and grass, so should be a very durable light. It's also shock resistant as well. So if you're going over bumps or rocky terrain, shouldn't have any issues there.As far as the specs, the raw lumen output for our bulbs is going to be 5,000 lumens per bulb. The effective lumen output is 4,565. Once it's been on for about 30 minutes, it drops down to a stable lumen of 4,033 lumens. Basically, the difference between that is the raw lumens is. in a perfect world with perfect conditions and perfect everything, it can have that potential of up to that number, but more real-world application is going to be the effective lumens. And that again, after it's been on for a little while, that power does dip or the brightness does dip a little bit. Still, at 4,000 lumens, that's a very, very bright light. So it's definitely going to do a great job of illuminating the night for you.The color temperature is 6,500 Kelvin which is that nice, cool white that you saw. The wattage per bulb is 43 watts. Power draw at 13 volts is 3 amps per bulb. Operating voltage is 9 volts up to 16 volts DC. It is covered by a two-year limited warranty, and that's about all there is to it for our look at the 9,000 LED Extreme series with the Anti-Flicker Harness.I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if these are the right bulbs for you. So I bought these a year and a half ago. These are the sh*t! Nice and bright with a good beam pattern. Just make sure you have a idea to cable manage with both harness with this package. It was plug n play on my 2004 Tacoma Xrta cab. Bite the bullet on the price and get them. Also so people don’t flash you every 2 seconds angle your lights a little lower. Don’t be a weenier with stupid bright lights blinding old lady’s.
Great lights. I have tried the cheap ones with no luck. These are the best by far.

Good product, quality appears to be good. I’ve had the bulbs installed for three days now and I am pleased. I would buy these again. The only reason I did not rated this five star is I was hoping for something a little brighter.
The system works great and improves my night driving visibility for my jeep. Good instructions on the install and a fairly easy process as well.
