Hello, neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania 9012 ST Silver Star Halogen Headlight Bulbs, 55 watts. Now folks, these do replace your standard equipment, 55 halogen headlight bulbs with the same fit and specifications and produces a wider and brighter beam and defined edge at the distance with greater contrast. The 4,000 K color temperature emits a sharp, balanced white color compared to the standard 32K rated, and it's always recommended never to touch the actual lens itself. That's why I'm being very careful to touch just the plastic housing here. Now, when you're taking these out, you want to follow your OEM manufacturer's directions, but basically this is going to, with these three tabs here along the side, it's going to twist and kind of pop out of the headlight assembly, and then your new one will just push in, twist and lock into place, and then you'll reconnect your connection point on the plastic housing itself.
These are made and legal for on-road use. They meet all DOT regulations. It's a simple plug and play operation. And that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look today, folks. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

I’m a big fan of these bulbs. They have a bit more of a daylight color to them. The factory bulbs were more of a warm color. The brightness difference was noticeable immediately, especially in the garage. We took a test drive and noticed the difference a little bit, but I’m still happy with them.
In the attached photo, I replaced the passenger side light first to show the color difference.
The install on a 2019 Kia Sorento was extremely easy. You just twist the bulb cover off, twist the socket out and pull out the bulb, then do everything in reverse. Very easy.
