Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania Basic 9007 Halogen Headlight Bulb. Now, this bulb is going to replace your standard equipment daytime running headlight halogen bulb with the same grade and specifications. So as I said, this bulb type is 9007. The base is P29T. And the 3,100 Kelvin color temperature is going to give you a pure, more neutral white color than the 2,700 Kelvin.
This bulb has a rated average life of about 500 hours. The lumen rating is a 1,000 lumens. And the base is going to give you a simple insulation with its plug fitting. And as you notice, I am wearing a pair of gloves. When you're changing your bulbs, it's a good idea to wear gloves or at least use a clean shop towel so you don't transfer oils from your skin to the bulb itself.
This is going to be legal for on-road use, and it does meet the Department of Transportation regulations for performance in life. And as you probably know, it is recommended that when you change your bulbs to change them on both sides of your vehicle to maintain that consistent light level and color. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
