Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania H13 XV halogen headlight bulbs. Now folks, these do replace your standard equipment, so your standard 65 or 55 watt halogen bulbs, depending on the size you got, with the same grade and specifications. You can see the red grommet there to keep water out and you've got some plastic tabs around. So basically when you're installing this or taking it out, you're gonna help use these tabs here. You're gonna twist and you're gonna pull out or push in if you're installing and lock it back in place.
It does also have the connector that the plug would plug into on the backside of both of these bulbs. Now you never wanna touch the glass with your fingers 'cause the oils from your hands could transfer and degrade the bulbs quality and lifespan possibly. Now these are gonna produce a brighter beam with a more defined edge than your standard bulbs. The 3,200 Kelvin color temperature will emit a pure, more natural or neutral rather, white color than say a 27 to 3,100 kelvin option that's on the market. We recommend you replace them in pairs.
That just basically means and helps that both headlights are gonna have a consistent light level and color and lifespan. Now the bulbs, again, plug simply into your wiring harness. They are meeting all DOT regulations and it is legal to use these on on-road use. Now the bolt type again is an H13, but it could also fit a 9008. Now that's gonna wrap it up for a quick look at these H13 XVs by Sylvania.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Great repalcement for factory bulbs.
