Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania 3157 White LED Zevo Reverse light bulbs. These highly efficient LED bulbs are designed for use on your vehicle with lights that have a clear or white lens cover. These LED bulbs can be a great upgrade or replacement option. These can be used as reverse lights, and as you probably know, many LED upgrades may not be street legal in your state, so it's a good idea to check your state regulations, before upgrading to these bulbs.
Now, as I mentioned, the bulb type is 3157. The bulb shape is S-8, and the base, as you can see there is S8WDC. And these do feature a bright 6,000 Kelvin cool white light output, and they're an excellent light source with brightness and clarity. They're dual-sided LEDs, and base are going to eliminate polarity issues. These are designed for longevity with heat management and shock protection, and these bulbs are gonna be a pretty easy insulation into a standard socket.
And as you can see, I am wearing gloves, and it's a good idea to wear gloves or maybe even use a clean shop towel, when you're installing these to make sure that you're not transferring oil from your skin to the LEDs themselves. I do wanna point out that some vehicles may require the use of load resistors. When upgrading resistors, as you probably know, prevent hyperflash and error codes. So if you find out that you're in need of those resistors on your screen, I'm including our part number to some Sylvania resistors. You can take that part number and pop it in the search field of our website.
That will take you to those resistors, and you can add those to your order, if you find out that you're in need of them. It is recommended that you replace bulbs on both sides of your vehicle for that constant light level and color. But I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
