Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with Etrailer, today we're going to be taking a look at some LED bulbs. These are going to be replacement bulbs for bulb sizes, 93, 1003, 1141 and 1156. These are going to have LEDs on them. We're going to have 360 degrees of lights, and these are going to come in two different colors. We have the warm whites and also the cool white. These come in a pack of two.
So just determine how many bulbs you need to replace and buy accordingly. As you can see here, we have a nice distinct line and it kind of divides the cool light with the warm light. And also not only does it change kind of the color of the fixture, but also the ceilings. These are white ceilings, you can definitely tell they're white over here with the cool light, but with the warm light, it's not as white. So it really just depends on what kind of color fixtures you have. It depends on what kind of color scheme you're going on the inside of your RV.
As of right now, we have a lot of tans, we have a little bit of maroons and reds and a lot of our cabinets are brown. So, I definitely think the warm light is going to be the best for this RV. But if you have an RV or a camper that has a lot of whites, a lot of grays, or even blacks, whether it's just cabinets, furniture, whatever it is, I definitely think that the cool would be a cooler option for that. It'll be a little bit more kind of like an office setting, a little bit more bright, but then of course you have the warm lights. That's going to be a little bit easier on the eyes and just a little bit more homey. So as far as dimensions go, let's go ahead and do the overall length, which is going to be about an inch and seven eights.
We are going to have three quarters of an inch width up here, and we're going to have a length of this section here, of three quarters of an inch as well. And then we are going to have a width right here of about nine sixteenths of an inch. So now we're going to go ahead and compare our LED bulb here to our traditional bulb. So we are going to have a very, very different amount of amperage being pulled per bulb, right here. It's only going to be 0.2 amps with each LED bulb, which is seven times less than our standard bulb.
So that is definitely an improvement. And it's going to make a big difference, especially if we replace all of our standard bulbs with these nice LEDs.And these are only really going to pull about 2.4 Watts. And these are all rated for 50,000 hours, which I just highly doubt that this little guy is going to last 50,000 hours. I've seen LEDs last for long, long time and 50,000 hours is quite a long time. So whenever you plan on replacing everything, I definitely suggest getting these, just because you have to replace them less and that's a plus. Wattage is something that we think about a lot, when it comes to bulbs. But another thing to think about is lumens. So that's how we measure the brightness of our bulb. With our standard bulb, we're going to get about 270 lumens. It's not a whole lot more than the LED bulb. You see here, the LED bulb is going to be about 210 lumens. It's not a whole lot of difference, but this guy definitely draws a lot less energy. So I definitely think when you put it into a fraction with the wattage versus the output in lumens, I definitely think that this is your better bet, in my opinion. Another thing to kind of think about is, we don't really need a crazy bright bulb. We're not walking through the woods and need this huge, huge spotlight to be able to see where we're going. We're indoors, it's a very small confined space and we have multiple different bulb spots, for each different fixture in this RV. So all in all, I don't really think lumens is something you really need to think about when it comes to LED. I think you just need to stick to the power that you're going to be saving. When it comes to light bulbs, I always go LED that's just me, one just because I like to use less energy to reduce my footprint. And also when it comes to hooking up your RVs, a lot of the times we don't really have the most ideal power coming in. So if we need our air conditioner running, if you've got two, we just want to make sure that every single appliance is pulling the least amount of energy needed. I think these are really unnecessary. So that's why I go with LED, that's just me. Hopefully you think the same, but another thing about it, this thing gets hot to the touch, really, really hot. If this thing is in the wrong place, at the wrong time, something bad could happen and something could light on fire. I'd just rather not. Also, if this breaks, we have 18 diodes on there. One of them breaks, we have 17 more that are going to do everything we need, it's still going to light up.This thing only has one little piece in there that lights up. So if this breaks, you need a new bulb. So that's one reason why I go with LEDs, but also if this thing breaks, we're going to have all that glass to clean up. I don't want to be a couple States away and have to visit the ER on my vacation. So hopefully you think the same and you don't want to do that either. So I definitely recommend grabbing an LED bulb compared to the standard bulb. And also another thing to kind of think about is just the fact that this was made in 1879, old technology, throw that out, grab a new LED bulb and everything's going to be a lot nicer, in my opinion. Other than that, that's pretty much it for a look at the warm white LED bulb..

LED tower bulbs with 18 diodes upgrade or replace 93, 1003, 1141, and 1156 light bulbs to provide warm white light for RV, marine, and automotive applications. Compatible with dimmable fixtures. Built-in surge protection. BA15s base.I received, very quickly, my order. It arrived in perfect condition. I have a 40 year old 12 volt brass light with a shade for use in a camping trailer. The company was trying to get us to buy these lights for use on boats. I have never used the sample given to me. I am using a 120 volt to 12 volt adapter. The original 93 bulbs quickly got extremely hot. These LED are perfect. The light will be mounted on a piece of wood and used in a nautical themed bedroom. I am extremely happy with my purchase of these LED bulbs. I tested the bulbs in the lamp in which the left or right bulb, or both can be turned on. Plenty of bright light and glad there is a shade.
I was really hoping these would work as a dimmable light but they are dull in brightness with hardly any range of brightness.

I do have another solution for you. These bulbs will emit a warmer light which is not overly bright. I recommend part # DI85VR for you. These bulbs are a whiter light that will be brighter.

These were just what I needed. Was glad to find them on etrailer. The funny thing is that I didn't use them for a trailer; I used them for patio light fixtures and they work perfectly.
One year later, these are still going strong. Probably 3-5 times the brightness of the halogen bulbs they replaced, in every direction, without the sterile aura of higher K bulbs.
As advertised fast shipping Thanks
I can see much better
Great bulbs, great price!
