Video Transcript for Review of Sylvania Vehicle Lights - 880 Halogen Fog Light - SY42WR

Hellos neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania 880 Halogen Fog Bulbs. Now folks, these do replace your standard OE equipment, the 27 watt fog light halogen bulb. As you can see, you've got three plastic prongs here and a nice rubber gasket. It's gonna keep moisture and debris out.

This would simply untwist out of your current fog housing and pull out, and then your new would push in and twist. And those tabs are what's gonna help lock it in place. You've also got the plugin area here on the back. And as you can see, I'm being very careful not to touch the glass part of the bulb. You never want to touch the glass with your bare hands, as the oils from your skin could contact the bulb and potentially degrade the lifestyle of the bulb.

Now, this puts out an oppressive 3,100 Kelvin color temperature, and that means it's gonna emit a pure, more natural white color than say, a 2,700 Kelvin, which is probably what your OE is. We also recommend you replace both sides, left and right at the same time, if you're replacing one. That way you can ensure a consistent light level and color. These meet all DOT regulations for performance and life, and they're legal for on-road use. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up.

Just a quick look today at our Sylvania 880s. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
