Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this RC Manufacturing Aluminum M Series Underbody Toolbox. Now this toolbox is gonna be a great idea for you if maybe you're an electrician or you're a plumber or maybe even like a general contractor and you're looking for secure, rugged storage and you need something to help keep your tools organized, but also easily accessible on the job. This is gonna be great for you if you use your truck or trailer for work or personal use and you wanna maximize the available storage space that you have without compromising your cargo capacity. So this is going to really be ideal for flatbed trucks, dump trucks or trailers, just to give you a few ideas. And this toolbox is going to mount to the underbody of your truck or trailer to give you up to about nine cubic feet of secure storage.

And I do wanna point out that this will not include brackets or mounting hardware, so you would have to pick that up separately depending on your particular application. Lemme give you some measurements here. Looking at the overall length from end to end, we're sitting right at 48 inches long. And then looking at the width or the depth, however you'd like to call that, I'm gonna be measuring from the back of the box, from the front of the door. Hopefully, you can see over my big head there.

So we're sitting at 18 inches and then the height from bottom to top, 18 inches. So hopefully that'll give you a good idea whether or not if this is going to work for your particular application. I do wanna zoom in here, close up and show you what we've got going on here. We do have a flush mounted T handle here. That's gonna be very easy just to pop that open.

You give it a turn and then that's going to allow you to drop the door down. And I already have a toolbox in here just to kind of give you an idea of the storage space that you're gonna have. But I love the fact that this is nice and open, easily accessible to get your stuff. So you're not gonna have to deal with, like, a center post or anything like that. We do have these retainer chains that's going to keep this door from opening more than 90 degrees.

Let me give it a turn there just so you can see both of those chains. I also wanted to point out that these chains are adjustable. You have brackets here at the corner, so you're gonna be able to lift the chain up or even let it down and just lock it into that slot there to that position that you want that door to open to. So that's a nice added touch. Also, I wanted to show you that we do have an automotive grade bulb seal that's going to go around the perimeter here. That's gonna protect the inside and your gear and your tools from the elements, from road spray and things like that. So again, plenty of storage in there. I'm gonna bring the door up and the door has a pretty good weight to it. And then I mentioned the storage is secure. You are going to get two keys here and so you'll just insert one of those keys, give it a turn. Then that's going to lock that T-handle and you will be good to go. So very easy to use. I do like the flush mounted design, especially if you might be walking by this and you maybe have a loop on your work pants. You're not gonna have to worry about anything getting caught on that handle. So that's a great addition to this. So this is made here in the USA of heavy duty aluminum. It has a mill finish, so this could be painted. Obviously, with it being aluminum, you're not gonna have to worry about rust or corrosion, and this weighs about 65 pounds or so. So it's relatively lightweight, but it's gonna be very strong, very durable for you.
