Today we're going to review part number DeeZee 8370. This is the DeeZee red label truck bed toolbox. This is the gull wing cross over style toolbox. It is silver in color, does have a capacity of 8.4 cubic feet. It is a consumer grade rust proof bright tread aluminum construction. When you open the lid it is a gull wing crossover style.

This lid opens on this side and if you pull the handle on that side that one would open the other way. This is an easy to use design, has the gas shocks one right here and one on that lid over there also. These will provide a smooth controlled lifting and lowering of the lid. Does have the self centering latches which will align perfect every time so when you do close it the striker plate will align right up and lock into place. want to show you there's your paddle handles right here. They do have the guide plates to help provide security for your belongings that are on the inside. It does come with the two keys, one for this lock one for that lock. They're all the same keys. Now this will give you secure weather resistant storage for your truck. It is made of a one piece front, back and bottom and then it uses welded ends which will provide maximum strength and durability.

If I turn it around to the front here, right down here you'll notice it has the patent-pending integrated Alumaguard body channel which will make this toolbox very sturdy. Does have a hidden hitch or a hidden hinge right here that will run the full length of the lid. This will minimize wear and help prevent theft. It does use a closed cell foam gasket all the way around on the lid. This will help keep any water or elements from getting inside the toolbox.

It is a very simple instillation. The toolbox will mount to the side rails of your truck bed. It does come with the J bolts and the hardware that is needed to secure the toolbox to the side rails. Now it does require drilling on the toolbox. There is no drilling required on your truck bed. Once you drill the holes on your toolbox and use the J hooks it will tighten down to the truck bed side rails. Now the double lids will let you open the toolbox from either side of your truck and it does include the full V pan support for rigidity on the hood. Does have a clear power coat finish, the part is made in the USA. Now the application on this toolbox is for mid-sized trucks and small trucks. It does not fit the imports with the six foot beds. Now the overall dimensions on this, I just want to give you an idea, the length with the lid closed is going to be right at 70 and three-quarters. The width is going to be right at 21 inches and then the hight is going to be right about 13 and a half inches. The hight of the toolbox above your truck bed rails, in other words your truck bed rails would beright under here is right at five inches above your truck bed rails. Again the interior capacity on this toolbox is 8.4 cubic feet, does come with a limited lifetime warranty and just want to show you again how you can lock this. Let me turn it to where you can see the paddle handles, there they are right there. You just pull up on it, you can open the lid, push down it closes into place. If you put the key in, turn it a quarter of a turn, pull the key out, the handle will not open so it stays locked into place. To open it put your key back in, turn it that quarter of a turn, it'll release the handle. That should do it for the review on part number DeeZee 8370.
