This 1-11/16" round GloLight M3 uses 5 amber LEDs that shine bright while drawing only 0.12 amps at 12.8 volts. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than standard incandescent bulbs and don’t use fragile filaments, so you don’t have to worry about bulb replacements. It’s also more energy-efficient, putting out a clean, even light that stands out day or night.
Made for tough environments, this light’s polycarbonate housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit. That means water can’t get inside to damage the diodes or circuit board. Whether it’s mounted low near the road or used on a trailer that gets submerged, it stays sealed and reliable trip after trip.
With a 1-11/16" diameter and only 3/4" deep, the GloLight M3 mounts flush for a neat look that doesn’t stick out or catch on anything. Installation is straightforward—just drill a 1-3/8" hole for the wiring and use the built-in surface mount pattern with 1-3/4" center-to-center spacing. It connects with a 2-wire pigtail using 0.18" male bullets for easy hookup. Chrome bezel is sold separately if you want to dress it up later.
This P2-rated light produces a 45-degree beam on either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage, giving you bright, focused visibility straight on where it matters most. Use it as either a clearance light or a side marker light to meet your setup needs while keeping your trailer visible on the road.
The sturdy polycarbonate lens and housing resist impact and UV damage, helping it stay clear and bright over time. It’s backed by a 3-year warranty for added peace of mind—one less thing to worry about once it’s installed and working.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics GloLight M3 LED clearance or side marker light. This round trailer light has a smooth, bright outer band. It's going to serve again as either a side marker light or clearance light for your application. Completely sealed, so it's got a sonically sealed design, which makes it waterproof, so it is submersible. It's a full LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights.
They last longer, they burn brighter, and they're much more efficient. It's going to contain an amber lens, and that's going to be a polycarbonate lens and housing. It's a surface mount installation. It mounts directly on the surface of the trailer. Installation is going to require a small hole for the wiring to go through. Mounting hardware is not provided so you will need to provide that on your own.
It's got two little mount holes, one on each corner there. It's a two-wire pigtail. You're going to have two wires, one for power, the other one is a ground wire. It doesn't matter which one you use for which function. They're going to have the 0.18 male bullets on there.
If you don't like that, what you can do is you can actually cut those off, splice the wires back or strip the wires back a little bit for a hard-wired application. Also available and sold separately is going to be a chrome bezel. That's this piece right here. It actually snaps over the light. Once it's installed, it gives it a clean finished look. That's going to be available here at etrailer.com with part number 00212217B.
It is Department of Transportation compliant. It's a P2 rated light. Taking a look at the dimensions real quick, I'm going to give you a diameter measurement of just the lens. That's going to give us a diameter of an inch and a half. Overall depth from the back of the housing to the outermost point of the light is about 3/4 of an inch deep. Those mount holes are going to be separated on center straight across from one another by 1-3/4 of an inch. The light contains a total of five diodes or five LEDs, and the power draw at 12.8 volts is 0.12 amps. We're going to go and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting. You can see there that it sends out nice, consistent signal. Again, it's going to contain a total of five diodes. The multi-diode design really helps optimize the light output. Again, this light's going to feature that nice, smooth outer band of LEDs, and it's going to function as either a side marker light or a clearance light for your trailer. That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics GloLight M3 LED clearance or side marker light.

Best online company experience so far. Excellent communication that seems truly personable. Product was exactly as expected and looks great. Used as a side marker on the tongue of my aluminum PWC trailer along with rear tail glolights. Thanks again.
Exactly what I needed to rewire my vintage trailer.
