Features:
Specs:
This light has a standard 3-prong plug that connects to your vehicle or trailer with a PL-3 pigtail adapter. Pick up the right-angle pigtail (A47PB - sold separately) or the straight pigtail (A45PB - sold separately) if you don't have one already.
This light installs in a grommet (A45GB - sold separately) and requires cutting a hole into your trailer if it doesn't already have one.
If you'd rather not cut a hole in your trailer, you can use an optional mounting bracket (BK45BB - sold separately) instead. You will still need the A45GB grommet.

Today we're going to take a look at the Optronic Sealed Amber 4-Inch Round LED Trailer Light. It's a two function light, parking and rear turn. It has 21 super diodes. This round trailer light will serve two functions as a parking light and a rear turn signal light. It is sonically sealed waterproof housing and lens. These are LEDs and they'll make great replacements for your incandescent lights.
They last about 50 times longer. They're more efficient, which means they provide brighter light with less power output and there's no bulbs to replace or no grill filaments. The housing is a polycarbonate lens and housing. It is an amber lens. This is designed as a recess mount, meaning it does use a rubber grommet that it sits into.
Now, the rubber grommet we do sell separately on our website and it is listed on this product page as a related product. Now, this does accept your industry standard three-prong plugs. Again, we sell those separately. I wanted to show you. There's two versions to choose from. The first one is part number A45PB and that's the straight plug.
In other words, when you go to plug this in, you can see once you plug it in, the wires come out straight from it. The other one is the A47PB and that's a right-angle plug. When you plug that one in, you can see the wires come out at a right angle. Either one of those plugs will work with this light. This is a DOT or Department of Transportation compliant light. A few specs on this.
I want to give you the width, the overall diameter on this and it's going to be right at 4 5/16. The depth measured from here to here is going to be right at 1 1/2 inches and then the depth of just the lens itself is 3/4 of an inch. It does have 21 diodes. The power draw at 2.8 volts for the turn signal light is 1.3 amps. For the parking light it's .010 amps. They do have a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. What I'm going to do now is show you how the light lights up and how bright it is. We're going to take one of the plugs. We'll plug it in. Then you'll have your wires coming out. We'll go ahead, the white wire will be for the ground and the black wire will be for your parking light and the red will be for your turn signal. We're going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and we'll go ahead and turn on the 12 volt power supply. There you can see is the parking light. Then when you do your turn signal. You can see how much brighter the light gets using the turn signal. Turn off our power, disconnect our light, go ahead and turn on our overhead lights. That should do it for the review of the Optronic Sealed Amber 4-Inch Round LED Trailer Light with the two functions, parking and rear turn and 21 super diodes.
