I installed this on a 2024 Kia Forte GT-manual. The hitch itself is great. The instructions were not helpful and that is the reason for the 4 star review. You cannot use any pre-existing holes. You will need to locate the hitch at an appropriate location and drill two 1/2 inch holes for the hitch bolts and then a 1 inch hole to navigate the hardware to the hole locations on each side. Make sure to put the 1 inch hole as far forward from the other holes as possible while still being able to route the hardware. Installation took about 3-4 hours. You only have to trim one part that attached to the bumper cover. It was plastic and easy to cut. Recommend getting cobalt drill bits and step drill bit for the holes. The longest part was marking and lining up the holes as the hitch is heavy and the exhaust is kind of in the way. I only removed 3 exhaust hangers and did not disconnect any of the exhaust bolts. Used bungie cords to hold it up. Having an extra set of hands helps, my 11 year old son was all I needed. Only using this hitch to mount bicycles.
