When you need a reliable way to tow a small trailer, haul gear, or mount a bike rack, this Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gets it done. With a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening, 200 lbs maximum tongue weight, and 1,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight rating, it’s built for light-duty towing and accessory use. The strength comes from fully welded, gloss powder coated steel that stands up to repeated trips and rough weather without rusting out.
You don’t need a lift or welding setup to install this hitch. The bolt-on design lines up with existing mounting points, and the complete hardware kit comes in the box so you can get it done in your own driveway. It’s designed for precision fitment that stays snug once installed and doesn’t require cutting or major modifications.
The gloss black powder coat finish goes over a protective base coat to deliver superior corrosion resistance. The stylish round-tube design adds durability while keeping the hitch looking clean under the bumper. Once installed, it looks like it belongs there—solid, functional, and ready for everyday use whether you’re hauling a small trailer or carrying bikes and cargo carriers rated for Class I receivers.

Very well. I bought this to use a bike rack. Instrestingly, I havent done that yet. Instead, I used it when I bought a pickup online in another state and hauled my car dolly out there, hooked the dolly on the truck and then drove the tiny Mirage onto the dolly for the trip home. Worked perfectly. Also I can move small trailers around my property easier than with my long crew cab truck the one from outta state.

Hitch looks great holding your bike rack Daniel! Where do you mainly like to ride? I was out on the Katy Trail here in Missouri this last weekend, I met a guy named Johnny who is walking the US to raise money for NAMI. Got in a great ride, and met a new friend. Doesn't get better than that =)
