With its black cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a chrome-plated double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a chrome-plated 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 Hitch with 2-Ball Mount for your two-inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, this 180 hitch is going to slide into your two-inch trailer hitch receiver and it's going to give you a two inch and a 2 5/16-inch double-sided chrome-plated steel tow ball making switching tow ball sizes very easy for you so you can tow different types of trailers, whether it's a utility trailer or an RV or a boat. The dual functionality is going to help eliminate the need for having multiple hitches. This is also going to give you a four-inch drop, a maximum of a four-inch drop in this orientation, and then a maximum of a five-inch rise when you flip the orientation of this shank, and it has an incremental height adjustment of one inch. So, all of that to say this is going to give you that height adjustability that you're looking for so you can tow trailers of different heights all with the same vehicle.
Now, this is going to give you a gross towing weight with the 2 5/16-inch hitch ball of 12,500 pounds, and then when you use the two-inch hitch ball, 8,000 pounds, and the maximum tongue weight is going to be 1,500 pounds. Now let's take a closer look. This hitch is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability. This features this black Cerakote finish and this is a ceramic coating that gives you an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So, not only does this finish make this hitch look great, but if you tow in harsh environments, such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to help protect the hitch, keeping it looking good and functioning properly for a long time to come.
Now, this has a dual-pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball sizes very simple. If you notice we do have a cover here that's going to protect our lock there. You're gonna get four keys, and these keys are going to be keyed alike for our slider lock and also for our hitch pin lock, which I'll talk about in the next minute or so. So, this is going to be very easy to unlock, so I'm just gonna go ahead and remove this. By the way, I wanted to point out that these pins are aluminum and the housing is also aluminum, of course, with that Cerakote finish, and then our lock here is plated steel, so this is gonna be very durable.
And so this is, as you can see, very easy to slide up and down, and I'm just gonna flip this from the 2 5/16-inch hitch ball to the two-inch ball just like that. So, you're not gonna be at the back of your vehicle struggling to get that adjustment that you're looking for. And now I'm just gonna go ahead and replace my dual-pin slider lock there. You can see how smoothly that operates. Turn the key, we're locked into place, and then just replace the cover.
And that's how easy this is going to be to adjust the ball size or the height adjustment. Now, also, we do have a locking hitch pin that's going to be included with this, and that's going to help keep this securely attached to the back of your vehicle. Again, this is gonna be very easy to use. If you notice it has a cap there to protect that keyway. So, I'm just gonna go ahead and give that a turn and remove it just like that. And what I like about this lock, and I don't need the key in that head to lock this back up, so I'm just going to go ahead and slide my pin back in there and then the head is ready to go. It's locked, so I just need to push it together, and now we are locked into place. So, as I hope you can see, this is going to be very easy to use, very easy to adjust and get set up. Some measurements that you might be wondering about is the distance from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, that length is gonna be right about 8 1/2 inches. If you move down to the center of our second hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, about 9 5/8 inches, and then from the center of our second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 7/8 inches. This is SAE J684-certified, and VESC regulations V5-compliant. So, because of its durability and the additional features that this offers, specifically its Cerakote coating, this hitch is really going to be a great long-term investment for you. This is going to give you versatility of handling different trailer types, and it's gonna help keep your towing experience safe and efficient. So, if you are looking for a hitch that's gonna give you convenience, safety, durability, ease of use, and it's gonna look good on the back of your vehicle, this is really gonna be a great option for you to consider. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
Nice hitch, solid. Keys for pin and lock are keyed the same, so thats cool. 10" drop for my 2026 2500hd Silverado. Was probably more then I needed, 8" would have been close.
One thing with the 10" drop. The bottom is about even with the duel ball set up anyway, looks nice when stowed(reversed).
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
