Today were going to be taking a look at the Tow Rax Aluminum Double Helmet Shelf with Hanging Rod part number TWSP280HSA. Heres our double helmet shelf. We can put a helmet on either side. The raised lip around each of the compartments will help keep your helmet as well as any other gear you may put in each side from moving around or falling out. While weve installed the helmet here on one side, the other side you could simply put a bag, you could put your goggles or riding boots or any other gear you may have. This bottom rod here is a great place to hang your riding gear whether it would be a coat, riding jersey, pants, anything like that.
There are two clips, one on each end, that can be pulled out and the rod can be slid out depending on what youre hanging on it. The shelf also works great in your garage or your shop at home. It helps keep things organized when youre not riding. Now lets go ahead and go over a few measurements of our aluminum helmet rack. Were about 14-1/2 inches deep as well as youll need a little over 28 inches of overall length for the shelf to fit in properly. Now weve gone over some of the features of our aluminum rack, now lets go ahead and show you how easy it is to install.
Across the back side here, we went ahead and drilled four holes which you will have to do when you get your helmet rack. It will not have any holes. Depending on your exact mounting location, it will determine exactly where youll be drilling your holes or how many youll need to drill. Were going to be installing this today here in our enclosed trailer on the wall. You will need to also supply the hardware to attach the helmet rack to the wall. Well go ahead and take our screws now.

I have not installed this yet but the construction appears to be high quality. It is sturdy and perfect size. The edges are finished nicely and left sharp. I would by it again. I gave 4 stars only because it is made in China.

- Can the Divider be Removed on the Tow-Rax Double Helmet Shelf # TWSP280HSAThe divider in the Tow-Rax Double Helmet Shelf # TWSP280HSA unfortunately is not removable. When it comes to installation though that is completely up to you. The shelf is made of a lightweight aluminum and only weighs in at 14 lbs, so you can use it for a variety of applications. The closest I was able to get to your 25" requirement is the Tow-Rax Double Helmet Shelf w/ Hanging Rod # TWSP280HSA. This tray measures 28" long, 7" tall and 15" deep, and is a made of a lightweight aluminum. I have included a review video of # TWSP280HSA for you to check out as well.
