Specs:
This rack makes it easy to organize your hardscaping tools. Hand tampers, hammers, and hand tracers can be easily stored inside your enclosed trailer or carried on an open trailer that has expanded metal sides. You can even mount this rack in your garage.
Hand Tamper Cutouts
The rack has 2 square cutouts that are designed to hold hand tampers. A hinged gate closes over each tamper cutout and latches with a snapper pin to hold the tamper securely in place. The pins are attached to the rack with twisted steel cables so you won't lose them.
Circular Cutouts
The rack has 2 circular cutouts to hold tools such as hammers and hand tracers. To store a tool, simply drop it through one of the cutouts.
Install in Enclosed Trailer
This rack mounts securely to the wall of your enclosed trailer. Just attach the hangers to the rack and suspend the assembly from the header of your trailer's wall. Then secure the hangers to the wall with the included self-threading screws. The rack is pre-drilled to simplify installation.
You can also bolt this rack to your garage wall or to the expanded metal sides of an open trailer. Hardware for these installation methods is not included. For a secure installation in a garage, be sure to align the pre-drilled mounting holes with studs in your wall.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Rackem hardscaping tool rack for enclosed trailers, part number RA-32. The Rackem hardscaping tool rack has a nice, durable, good-looking powder coat finish. It's going to be durable down the road. We're and the going to have to worry about much there. It's also unique in that they've designed it with mounting locations to even help you mount it in your garage. Whether you're mounting it into plywood or drywall, be sure to get into the studs if you're going to be doing the drywall.
But can easily be used inside just as well as outside your enclosed trailer. There are gates that are designed after you pull the bale, those are going to slide open. It's going to open that slot up so we can bring our tools and and get them in behind the gate, so as we're going down the road we don't have to worry about them falling around or doing any kind of damage to any of our other equipment. We also have our holes. Two different locations: one forward and one back. It's going to help out with our hammers, our hand chisels, different thing like that that we may want to store. You're going to have two brackets.
They're designed to go right over the top of the frame runners in the top of the rounded-top enclosed trailers. What we've done on ours, since it is the flat top-style and it doesn't have that frame runner over here - we've also got some of our wires that run down through that area - we've taken a 6x6 and cut an angle off the backside of it to match where our bracket comes down and rests on top of it. That could really be a good solution for the guys that don't have that rounded top and that frame runner running behind it. We're just going to get them up here on our 2x6 into position. We'll bring the rack itself up. It's designed to slide right down onto those brackets.
This is going to help us determine exactly where we need them positioned. With our brackets positioned where we want them, we'll take our screws and we're just going to begin installing them in our mounting locations. As you can see right now, we've got a nice steady rack ready to hold our equipment for us. Now let's go over a couple of measurements so you'll see what kind of room you'll be taking up in your trailer. Looks like we're looking at 21-1/4" for our width. From our mounting surface to the very face of our rack we've got about 7-1/8" right up to the front of those gates.
From the very top of our mounting look location to the bottom, we've got 19-7/8". That will complete today's look at the Rackem hardscaping tool rack for enclosed trailers, part number RA-32. .
Best racks I have used yet.
Excellent
great product , nice for shorter handle tools such as hammers , pry bars , and screw drivers.
We bought this to see if it would keep our stihl backpack sprayer safe (the one with the pump handle on it) They do not fit. seems to be good quality though.
