Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror. This towing mirror is going to replace the passenger side factory mirror on your 2008 Newer Toyota Sequoia as well as your 2007 Newer Toyota Tundra. This is just the passenger side, we do also have the driver's side available as well as a kit with both the driver's and passenger side.If you are needing both, you can find them using that part number that you see on the screen or if you just need the driver's side, you can find that instead. But if you already have the pair, this is going to be a great replacement for the passenger side. I would recommend having both on your vehicle just for the aesthetics making it look balanced.This is a really nice mirror, It's going to extend out to give you that greater view of your trailer as you're towing.

If you are one of those people who tows frequently and you want to have a permanent installation like this, it's going to be much easier and better looking than having the strap on mirrors that you have to put on and take off every time you're towing. This is going to install once and be done, you just have to extend it out when you're towing and then retract it back in and it's your normal mirror on your truck. It's going to look really nice and be very easy to set up for your towing experience. Having that extended angle is going to make it much easier to see your trailer, keep an eye on your load and make it safer as you're changing lanes, passing vehicles, that sort of thing.This is going to be a really nice option for you. This does have all the same features as the factory towing mirror.

It's got the heated mirror glass to try and help reduce fogging and clouding and ice build up on those chilly days and mornings. It's also got the mirror face adjustment from the inside of your vehicle so you can set the angles to be what you need them to be. On the side here we also have the amber light. It's going to illuminate with your turn signals that other motorists are aware of what you're planning on doing.This top mirror here is right at about six and 3/4 of an inch tall and about eight inches wide. Then we also have the built-in spotter mirror down here that's going to help reduce the blind spots, it's more of a convex lens.

It will do a good job of making sure that even cars that are coming up in your blind spot will be visible there. When it's retracted like this, your mirror is going to sitting right about 20 inches wide in total from where you are attaching to your truck out to the end. When you extend it out, you're going to gain about four inches, just shy of four inches. It's going to extend out to right about 23 and 3/4 of an inch. So again, helps to increase that angle so that you can more easily see your trailer.It does also have a hinged design to it, so you can fold it in if you're trying to get into a tight parking space or something like that.

You can also see this does have a nice black plastic housing here and then a Chrome finish on the mirror itself. So it's going to look really nice, be much more stylish than those snap on or strap on towing mirrors that are often used for towing.This does come with a 90 day warranty, if you we're to have any problems with it, you could give us a call. We'd be happy to work with you, but I really don't think you're going to have any problems this is a really nice mirror. As far as the installation goes, getting this put in place is going to be very simple. It's got the same footprint as the original mirror, you're not going to have to drill any new holes or anything like that. It's going to attach the same three locations as the factory mirror did and it's got the same plug for that factory tower control, mirror face adjustment, heated mirror glass, and the amber light there.It's all going to be very simple to plug in. Basically just pull your old mirror off, put this one in its place, tighten everything down and you're ready to go. Very easy to get installed. It's going to look nice and be very functional for you. You Won't have to worry about strapping everything on when you're ready to tow, just extend it out and you've got that better line of sight on your trailer. A really great option for those of you who have those Toyota trucks and are wanting to tow frequently.Again, I would recommend having both the driver's side and passenger side, just for view point from both sides of your vehicle. We do have that kit available, but if you are just looking for the passenger side, this is going to be the option for you.
