The Level Master is an all-in-one bubble level that assists you in leveling your fifth-wheel trailer or camper. When you arrive at the campsite, the Level Master helps you find a level spot to park your trailer without leaving the cab of your truck. The large level provides a visual of the side-to-side position of your trailer.
After you park, the Level Master helps you balance your trailer side to side while you are operating your landing gear. Each mark on the scale indicates 1 inch of blocking. So if the bubble is 1 block away from the center of the level, then you need to raise the side of your camper by 1 inch.
An additional level is built into the larger scale and comes in handy when you are leveling your camper front to rear.
The included mounting bracket makes it simple to attach the Level Master to your trailer's pin box.

Hi there fifth wheel owners. Today we're going to be taking a look at Wheel Masters' Level Master bubble level for fifth wheel trailers. This bubble level is designed to mount right on top of your fifth wheel so you can easily see it from inside the cab of your truck by looking out the back window. The large bubble level in the center will make it easy to determine if you're leveled from side to side, and the small level bubble here in the center is for your front to back level. This way you can get all of your leveling done with just a single bubble level located at the front of your vehicle.We're now inside the truck and you can see here we can easily see our bubble level. This is nice when we're pulling up to the campsite and we're trying to find a spot to place our fifth wheel.
We can determine how level the ground is that we're getting ready to park on. This can minimize the amount that you're going to need to level your trailer and can also help ensure that your leveling jacks are going to be long enough to get it properly leveled because the closer you are to level to begin with, the less you're going to have to compensate using your jacks.This will also help eliminate the stressful yelling back to a family member to determine if the bubble levels that you can't see are showing that it's on fairly level ground. Now you can do it yourself before any of your passengers even get out of the truck. Check it out here in our rear view mirror.Once you find your campsite and parked your trailer as level as possible, you can see here that we've got ours parked but we're still slightly unlevel. We'll go ahead and use our leveling jacks now to get it nice and centered.
This bubble level is going to be a great tool to help you finish the job. And since it's so large and easy to view, there's no doubt that we're nice and level.Our smaller level here on the top is for front to back level and while you won't be able to see this from the truck, you can use it to fine tune it once you've got your side to side level. Each line indicates one inch of blocking so you can get an idea of how unlevel you are.The liquid inside the bubble won't leak or freeze and it's clear in color so it won't fade over time. The bubble level assembly has an aluminum construction and comes with plastic brackets to mount it onto your fifth wheel. The plastic brackets are flexible to help it fit around various fifth wheels.
You can see here they're kind of flexible. They do feel a little flimsy, but this one's been on here for quite awhile and it's held up nicely.The level will fit on pin boxes between 11 and 1/8 inches wide, to 15 and 3/16 inches wide. The level is 11 inches long by two and three quarter inches wide. It comes with everything you'll need to get it mounted onto your pin box.If you compare it to your traditional smaller levels that you'll find on RVs like the one you see here, it's going to be much more difficult to see this level. It's much smaller.
The bubble is much smaller and it's a clear bubble unlike the silver one that was in our other level. This one will still work, but again, it is much harder to see. It's also only held on by adhesive. Our other one's got nice strong mounting brackets and hardware to make sure it's securely attached.One thing to keep in mind when installing your level is that you want to be working with an already level trailer. That way you'll know your level gauge is accurate when you're looking at it later. This is the second set I have bought as we had them on our Wildcat when we traded it in for a Jayco. They literaly take seconds to install, are strong and work perfectly with Andersen Jack Blocks 744542
This is the second one of these I had. The first was previously mounted on our Wildcat 5th wheel and liked it so much I put one on our recently purchased Jayco. The only reason for dropping one star, is the cheap basically license plate bolts it comes with. I drilled 13/64" holes for them since they are self-tapping and one of the heads snapped off halfway in and I had to drill it out.......arrgghh! Admittedly it was cold out so the steel was brittle but was still aggravating. Then I got smart and went to the hardware store and got some automotive body bolts and nuts to mount it since I could get the the inside (see pic). 744541

I read the other reviews prior to purchase so I knew I would need to make new brackets because the brackets were plastic (but I like projects). The level feels solid and would last a long time. If you are handy with metal, and have some laying around this could be a good buy, if you don’t have the time or resources, I would suggest spending a little more money on something different. 297543
