Keeping your gear safe from weather and theft doesn’t have to mean sacrificing convenience. The RetraxONE XR uses a one-piece Lexan polycarbonate panel that slides open and closed on sealed ball-bearing rollers, so it operates smoothly without springs, straps, or snaps. The locking pop-up handle lets you secure the cover at any point along the rails—perfect for hauling long loads while still covering what’s up front. When you’re done, the cover retracts into a compact canister that shields it from the elements and leaves more usable space in the bed.

From hot summers to freezing winters, the RetraxONE XR is built to handle it. The high-quality Lexan polycarbonate construction performs between -50 and 200°F without cracking, swelling, or fading. A matte black finish resists scratches, while weather stripping and foam seals keep moisture, dust, and debris out of the bed. The cover overlaps the tailgate for added water protection, and built-in drain tubes route any water out of the canister to stay dry in heavy rain or snow.

Haul your kayaks, bikes, or construction gear without removing the cover. The integrated T-slot rails accept racks from Thule, Yakima, Rhino-Rack, and others, so you can carry gear above the bed while keeping your cargo locked and covered below. The track system doesn’t interfere with the retracting cover, giving you full use of both the bed and the rack setup at the same time.

Durability meets clean design in the RetraxONE XR. Aluminum I-beams every 4-3/4" inside the 5/8"-thick polycarbonate panel give it the strength to support up to 200 lbs of evenly distributed weight—ideal for snow buildup or light gear. The canister’s angled bottom saves space, and the side rails mount just 1" above the bed for a sleek, low-profile look that keeps wind drag down and complements the truck’s lines.

Getting set up is straightforward. The preassembled cover and canister mount to your bed rails with bolt-on clamps—no drilling required. Once in place, connect the included drain tubes through the factory holes in the bed, and you’re ready to go. It’s a clean, solid install that stays maintenance-free mile after mile.

One year in and I have no problems with this cover. Still opens and closes smoothly. It does take up more room than I was expecting but its not something that would keep me from buying it again. I have added the Yakima rack to it and it all works great.

Terrific product. Ive been very pleased. The only only improvement I can suggest, improve the drainage hose attachment fittings. They come loose too easily.

Glad to hear it looks great, Shelli! I have had a similar cover on my Silverado since 2018 and the retractable covers are the way to go, at least in my opinion. I haven't any issues with the canister making loading up the bed with stuff cause any problems and I don't think you will either. ^___^ What are you typically keeping in your bed? I always have a milk crate with survival type stuff in it, just in case!
