When you need to grab gear or tools fast, the Extang E-Series makes it easy. The tri-fold design lets you lift the rear panel at the tailgate for small items or fold up the rear and center panels to open two-thirds of the bed. If you need the whole bed, the cover removes completely in just minutes, leaving nothing behind on the rails.
Keeping your cargo safe doesn’t have to be complicated. The E-Series uses sturdy, spring-loaded clamps built right into the frame—no loose parts or extra bolts to keep track of. Close the tailgate and the clamps lock the cover down tight. When it’s time to take the cover off, the quick-release design makes it a one-person job.
Rain and dust can ruin what’s in your bed, but the full-perimeter rubber seal keeps the elements out. It presses firmly against the bed rails to help prevent leaks, so your load stays clean and dry through changing weather and car washes.
Durable but easy to handle, the E-Series pairs a lightweight aluminum frame with a heavy-duty vinyl top. The frame’s support bows span the width of the bed to keep the surface tight and reduce sagging. The vinyl grain finish adds a clean, smooth look that stays flexible through heat and cold.
Getting the cover on is straightforward—no tools, no drilling, no extra hardware. Everything you need is already built into the cover. Once installed, the standard-profile design sits neatly on top of the bed rails for a simple, finished look that blends right in.

2 years in the cover still looks and fits great. No visable signs of wear. Great product.

That’s actually a pretty common thing with soft tonneau covers like this. When the temperature rises, the vinyl naturally expands, which can cause it to sag a bit in certain spots. It’s not a defect or anything like that, just the way the material reacts to heat. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be done to prevent it, especially in hotter climates, but the cover will still do its job of protecting your truck bed. Speaking of which, what do you keep in your bed?

Thanks for your feedback Eric and we apologize that was your experience, The Extang E-series is designed with weather seals and generally does a good job keeping water out during normal rain and driving conditions but like most soft folding tonneau covers, it is not completely waterproof. Going through a car wash, especially one with high pressure sprays or brushes could cause water to seep in around the seals or tailgate area. Touchless washes are usually safer than brush style washes for soft covers like this.
