A lot of covers get in the way when you’ve got a toolbox up front. This one’s built specifically to fit behind most 19"–21" over-the-rail toolboxes, so you can still open and close your box without touching the cover. It sits 1-1/2" above the bed, giving you a little extra covered space while keeping a seamless line from toolbox to tailgate. The front header bar forms a tight barrier between the cover and the box, keeping weather and dust from creeping in.

When it’s time to haul something tall or bulky, just peel back the hook-and-loop seals and roll the cover toward the toolbox. It stows neatly behind the box with premium straps and clips that hold it in place while you drive. The reinforced aluminum bows support the vinyl so it rolls smoothly and easily every time, and the AutoLatch II dual locks snap automatically when you close it again—no fussing with separate catches.

Rain, snow, and sun don’t stand a chance against the double-coated, UV-blocking vinyl. It stays flexible down to -40 °F, won’t shrink or fade, and keeps its tight fit through temperature swings. The Element weather seal behind the toolbox, reinforced vinyl flap at the tailgate, and contoured rails combine to block water and dirt from getting into your bed, so your gear stays dry and clean no matter the season.
Covers can loosen up after a few weeks in the sun or cold, but the XT-Dial tension adjuster keeps this one snug with just a twist. You can set the tension exactly how you want it—no wrenches, no clamps to move. Once dialed in, the cover stays tight and quiet at highway speed, and the aerodynamic Slantback design even helps cut wind drag, improving gas mileage by up to 10 percent.

The contoured black powder-coated aluminum rails resist rust and mount inside the bed rails, leaving your stake pockets open for racks or tie-downs. Tight Bite clamps with serrated teeth grab the rails firmly for a solid, rattle-free fit. Lock your tailgate and the cover keeps your cargo secure without interfering with toolbox or tailgate operation. Durable materials and smart hardware make this a long-term setup that works as hard as your truck.

Real nice and easy to install.
We love this tonneau cover! This is our third purchase of the same cover. We upgraded to a 2024 Dodge Ram and unfortunately needed the new fit. This is easy to install and wears extremely well. Our old tonneau cover purchased 3 years ago looks literally brand new. I am grateful that this company makes an affordable solution to covering the bed of your pickup and allowing for a toolbox as well.
Well I cannot rate the product. But UPS did a 5 star job of delivering it to my door in 5 below temps. Until it melts out there, I am not going out.
I've been looking for years for a cover to fit my bed with the toolbox and all I ever heard was they don't make them. I love this cover and thanks etrailer. I was a little confused with the instructions provide, so it was a combination between the video and instructions that helped me complete the task. I really recommend if your in the market for this kind of tonneau cover.
Love my cover so much! Highly recommend!!! My cover has been all over the country from the coast of the redwoods of California to the deserts of southern Utah to the plains of Kansas for construction aiport projects my cover has protected my belongings, my truck, and myself!!! Thank you so much for an amazing product!!!
Cover has lived up to expectations. Easy to install. I integrated it with a 5th wheel tool box which conveniently allows separate access to either. Protects my hitch from the elements when I am not towing. Easily rolls up and down. When rolled up, it does not block my rear view when I hitch my 5th wheel. Stays securely fastens when closed. No water intrusion, even in a car wash. Every couple of months I apply a good coating of a quality vinyl UV protectant.
The cover fits well over the truck bed and snug against the tool box. RAM 3500 with 8' bed.
Surprised by the early delivery! Installation instructions need some help, but the product is just what I wanted for our '20 F350 DRW.
Installed on a 2013 F150 with 6-1/2' foot bed. I had already installed a toolbox across the bed rails and then decided to add an Access cover since I knew I could get this tool box compatible version. I had an Access cover on a previous truck and knew I wanted the same brand again.
Plan on buying additional bulb weather stripping as the cap between the tool box and the front of the bed is wide depending on tool box width. My gap was wider than what came with the installation kit. You have to put the toolbox exactly where it needs to meet the bed cover header.
Installation was easy for the cover as the struggle was getting the toolbox weather stripping installed. I put the bulb seal in the kit on the front of the toolbox and then added my larger bulb weather stripping onto the front of the truck bed so that both mated up once the toolbox was put back into place per the instructions. Any local parts store should carry the seal material.
I do like how you need to open the tailgate to operate the latching system. If you lock your tailgate, it cannot be accessed. My previous Access cover had a push button you could use to unlatch the cover with the tailgate closed. Not great if you want to keep other out of your truck bed.
happy with the results they all where not installed yet but measured the pieces and they and were all within tolerance went to Home Depot and bought some weather stripping as the tool box (huskie) WILL HAVE TO BE FARTHER out so you can open it full without hitting the rear window and still have a water tight seal
The measurements were a little off for the gap of the tailgate and I had to readjust after install of the side rails. Also there were some cuts after pieces were painted it looked like. Unsure if this was done to adjust a common part to make work for several different bed styles or what. Still needs a few adjustments on my part but overall am happy with it.
Directions could of been a little better as well but I was able to fumble through.
We travel a lot with our RV and frequently keep stuff in the back of the truck. I wanted something to hide it all. This cover is excellent. It looks fantastic and is easy to use (roll/unroll). Installation was okay but two sets of hands or clamps make it a lot easier. The instructions are just okay but it all worked out. The cover was a smidge short so I had to double-up on the rubber seal at the tailgate. No biggie. Also, no need to have a separate cover for my 5th wheel hitch. Very happy!
This tonneau cover is great! It fits and looks perfect. The quality seems very good and should last a very long time.
Wow, this Tonneau roll up bed cover is absolutely great. I like the quality of all parts, ease of installation and finally the look! Installed on my 2016 Ford F250 Super Duty.
I like the design of the Tonneau cover and how it looks, the ease of installation and the follow up support of etrailer. The shipping was pretty fast but there was a portion on one of the side rails that should not have passed quality control at the manufacture. I contacted etrailer, sent in a few pictures of the damaged rail and within a few days got a replacement rail shipped to me. That’s why I like doing business with etrailer!
The tonneau fit really well and worked with my Silverado. However, customer service is one star at best. I sent pictures to a representative of my truck and toolbox and she said the tonneau I picked out for him would not work with my toolbox. She then recommended another tonneau that she said was made for my toolbox and truck (I pull a fifth wheel so that made things difficult.) I ordered the one she recommended but it didn’t work either. I emailed her and nothing but crickets. I got an email from a different representative asking how things went and I explained the whole mess and again, nothing but crickets. I had to really get creative to get it to work and now it does, but it’s tricky getting in the tool box. Disappointing to say the least. I’ve ordered from etrailer before and had good experiences. This time, 5 star product, one star customer service.
After a little over a year, this tonneau cover is still working great and is a perfect fit with my crossover toolbox.
Love it and would definitely recommend.
The cover works fine, however the attachment devices that it came with it do not. They continue to come loose and fall off. Finally had to drill the cover into the sides of the truck and the truck box. Now it stays in place.
Great product and service from etrailer. Only improvement could be better directions. I’m a stickler and admirer of good directions. The instructions for the cover were not as easy as they could be. Otherwise great product.
It was easy to install and works great. I believe this is the only way to keep the bed coved when you have a toolbox and need to be able to pull a 5th wheel.
Excellent quality, very good installation kit and instructions. It fit perfectly in the bed and sealed against the toolbox. Also included rubber seal for the front of the toolbox to make weather tight seal to front of truck bed.
Cover came highly recommended by RVers for large fifth wheel applications. However, Ram 3500 dually with Andersen hitch combination doesn’t work. Cover rails are to high and makes contact with the RV. The tonneau cover itself is nice.
Tonneau cover is great, although the spacer between the cover and tool box needs better design. The 3 inch filler panel has clamp points on both sides which don't work very well, always sits lower than the cover, hard to attach and allows a lot of water to access the bed. If the filler panel had attachment points that slides into the cover panel for looks, stability, water control and installment it would work much better.

The installation for this can be a little tricky since toolboxes vary so vastly. The instructions say to ensure that the weather seal spans the length of the header bar and also, for best protection against the elements, use silicone seal at the front of the side rail and header bar along the side of the box. I hope this helps.
