Titan Chain Tire Chains - TC4219CAM

These durable, low-carbon steel chains provide excellent traction in deep snow. The rounded twist links limit jarring. Cam tighteners let you quickly adjust chains for a secure fit. Includes chains for driver's and passenger's sides.

  • Link thickness: 0.218" (5.5 mm)
  • Maximum speed rating: 30 mph
  • Quantity: 2 dual-tire chains (driver's side and passenger's side)

Note: These chains are not intended to be put on commercial vehicles like plows, forklifts, or tow trucks.


Installation

1. Drape the chain over both tires of your dual-tire setup, making sure that the center chain is between the tires. (You can also lay the chain out and then drive onto it.)

2. Drive forward about 1/4 of a tire revolution.

3. Fasten the ends of the chain together.

4. Use the cam tensioning devices to tighten. Do this by inserting the flat end of the included wrench into the slot on each cam and twisting it.

5. Drive forward a bit and tighten the chain as needed.


You can use rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) to increase the tension on the chains for a tighter fit.


How to Choose Snow Chains for Your Vehicle

To choose the right snow chain, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire, as shown below.


Tire size on sidewall

185/60-15

  1. (185) - indicates tire width in millimeters
  2. (60) - gives you the aspect ratio (sidewall height as percentage of width)
  3. (15) - denotes the diameter of the wheel rim in inches

    We have the Titan tire chains part # TC4219CAM which are a fit for the tire size you have on your Sprinter of 215/85-16 and would work great. These are a twist link style of chain which means it would be a little smoother and these are a dually design so they will cover both tires on either side of the vehicle.     First you are going to want to check your rear tire clearances on your 2019 Forest River Sunseeker Chevrolet Chassis to ensure there is enough room for the Tire Chains # TC4219CAM. Since motorhomes are not standard and the RV manufacturer adds some items you will want to ensure there is nothing close to your rear tires such as plumbing, electrical, hydraulic and propane lines.
