Note: These chains are not intended to be put on commercial vehicles like plows, forklifts, or tow trucks.
Installation
1. Drape the chain over both tires of your dual-tire set-up, making sure that the center chain is between the tires and that the side chain with the lever is on the outside. Drive forward about 1/4 of a tire revolution. (You can also lay the chain out and then drive onto it.)
2. Reach around behind the tires and fasten the ends of the chain together.
3. Move back to the front of the tires and fasten the ends of the chain together using the built-in lever.
4. Drive forward a bit and tighten the chain as needed by moving the hook to the next link.
You can use rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) to increase the tension on the chains for a tighter fit.
How to Choose Snow Chains for Your Vehicle
To choose the right snow chains, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire, as shown below.

Great Service. Thank you. I will buy a lot more from you.
Have not needed them
These arrived on time and look fairly rugged. I look forward to not getting stuck in the snow and mud.
Fast service and follow up on my order. Will buy from them again.
Had to reorder my rear chains and etrailer made it right and was quick about it, 3 days to my front door.
Thanks,
Robert
Easy to put on. Transformed my truck from not being able to drive at all in the snow to unstoppable!
Chains worked great after you experiment on the best way to install... First time for me to install dually chains... After they are installed they worked great!
I just got them two days ago, I have not put them on, used them or has it snowed. Although I love etrailers easy to use web site, prices and service I can never understand why they try to rush the review. I cannot imagine it is helpful to anyone for me to say they are bright and shiny and possible would work well if I had a chance to use them.
Super fast delivery of a well packaged heavy set of dual wheel tire chains. Very pleased, I will do business with etrailer again.
Customer service was great. Tire chains seem solid. Won't need to use them for a while so can't say for sure.
The product that I ordered was back ordered from the Manufacturer. etrailer.com customer service staff kept me informed about the situation and made sure that I received my items prior to the departure on my trip. Customer Service is the most important thing a company can offer on items that are available from several vendors and I have to say the team at etrailer.com is outstanding.
Application: 2017 Ram 3500 DRW. Road test: Hwy 50 from California near the Nevada line (into South Lake Tahoe); chains (or snow tires) required.
The chains worked great! It was snowing pretty good. I installed the chains on the side of the road prior to the "chains required" checkpoint. I had my headlamp prepared which was the key to an efficient install in low-light conditions. Naturally, manipulating the chains during install was twice the fun! But with some good gloves, a headlamp, and 3 slight repositions of the truck, they came on and were readjusted in about 30 min. I thought that was pretty good time considering the conditions and being safe around the other vehicle traffic.
The truck handled great. I capped my speeds at 30MPH, which did not happen that much given the few straightaways in that particular stretch of road. After a few miles the chains seemed to really settle in and my ride was pretty smooth. No excessive noise.
I found an awesome parking lot to remove the chains in South Lake Tahoe before getting into Nevada. (I probably could have kept them on through the city and on downgrade into Nevada, but it all worked out.) The lighting helped a LOT. However, it still took me about 25 min to remove the chains because I had trouble unlocking the inside tire on one side. Be ready to crawl and spend some time underneath your truck. The clearance underneath the Ram 3500 was plenty to get in there and sift through the chain to find the lever lock.
Sorry - no pictures. As soon as I had them off, it dawned on me I never took any pictures. If chains are required next time I make that run, I will try to remember to snap a few. Overall - they're good chains. Durable, and provided great traction if you want to run double chains on your dually. Remember good gloves and a headlamp, and make it an adventure not a chore.
This is the exact product I ordered
