Today we're going to take a look at the pop and lock custom manual tailgate lock. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 to 2015 Hummer H3T vehicles. On a custom fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now, this is a keyed tailgate lock, which will discourage theft of your cargo and your tailgate, create secure storage for your valuables when it's used with a tonneau cover or even a truck bed cap.
It's made of a tough armored steel lock, which will resist tampering. And it is customized for your vehicle. It's a side mount design, which will integrate into your OEM handle for that from the factory look.You can see right now we have the key in it. It's in the open position. You just turn that key and remove it.
You can see that it'll keep it in the locked position. To open it, put your key back in, turn it, and that'll release it. Does have a nice black color to it to match your truck's trim and it is a raised lock for quick key access. It's a very simple installation, there's no drilling or welding necessary. Requires only basic tools.
It comes with a nice set of installation instructions on how to install it. It comes with the two keys. It comes with the lock mechanism. And you can see all the necessary hardware for installation. But again, right now it's in the open position.
