Video Transcript for Westin R5 M-Series Wheel-to-Wheel Nerf Step Bars Spec Review

Hi, I'm Daniel with etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at the Westin Wheel to Wheel Nerf Step Bars. Adding running boards to your truck is a great idea 'cause most trucks, they're getting bigger and bigger and they're sitting higher off the ground, so just adding that extra step is gonna help you get in a lot easier. Now, I was working on this truck earlier with that one and I was glad we installed it 'cause it's a lot easier to get in and out with that extra step. (door smacks) These running boards are wheel to wheel, so they're gonna be a bit longer and that's nice 'cause your passengers can safely get in and out with more step surface. Another good reason to get Wheel to Wheel Nerf Bars is you have a little bit extra on the end, so maybe you have a toolbox back here, you can just step on this and more easily get to that. These are gonna give you five inches of stepping surface and as you can see, spaced out it is going to be your stepping pads and there's treads in there so you can have a nice grip even in wet conditions.

Overall, I really like these running boards. They're gonna look really good on your truck. They pretty much look OEM, which I like. Now they do come in two halves and they do have plastic treads, so if you're maybe looking for something that was one solid piece and is all metal, we do have options on our website.
