Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Carr custom fit side steps. Now folks, these are considered a super hoop style and they're in a polished aluminum construction and they're gonna give you a 17-inch wide step area in between the main units. Now these are custom fit, so make sure you're checking out the fit guide over here at etrailer.com. From what I can find, these fit roughly early '80s to late '90s the older Ford trucks and Broncos. Different ones, so make sure you're checking out that fit guide again to be sure you're getting the right ones.
Now in this video I do have the set of two on the table just so you can see what they look like in a set of two. We do offer these just as one single, and I'll put those item numbers up there on the screen for you. So if you're just looking for one, maybe you just need a replacement, maybe you just want one on the one side, you're not worried about the passenger, you can just get 'em one. So totally up to you. Just know that what I have here on the table again is all the hardware for both steps.
So obviously if you're getting just one, you're gonna get the brackets and everything I have here and probably half of the nuts and bolts that are provided in this kit. So again, these are very stylish. They're gonna let you get in out of your vehicle with ease. They do have a very nice, large textured but flat step area and once again that's 17-inches of usable space on the inside. These are about a 6-inch drop whenever they're installed, depending on what you put your angle at.
And overall outside to outside, I got roughly 20-inches wide. These are also rated an impressive 500 pounds capacity and these are gonna be again made of cast aluminum. They do have a nice kind of polished finish on 'em, so they have a little sheen or shine to 'em, which I kinda like. You don't have to worry about these rusting out, cracking, anything like that. That finish is really, really tough and strong.
It's not gonna peel on you, it's not gonna rust or scratch or anything anytime soon. And these do mount to your rocker panels using the bracket systems and again, that hardware that's included. So again, whether you need one or two, these are the Carr custom fit side steps. I'm Steven with etrailer. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.
