Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at a custom mounting kit for your Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards. So folks, those running boards would look something like this. They fold up and out of the way whenever the door is closed and when you open the door of the vehicle, they automatically swing down and out for you to use. Now folks, these, are again, just the custom mounting kit. This does not including the running boards.
The running boards would be sold separately. This does fit a 1999 through 2016 F-250, 350 or 450 Super Duty Crew Cab models. Always check the fit guide here at etrailer.com, top center of the homepage where it says My vehicle, enter things such as your make and model, cab size, bed length, those kind of things to get the right parts the first time. So again, folks, those custom Aries ActionTrac motorized boards are sold separately. You can find them here on the website.
Now, getting into the product, there's just so much hardware and stuff, I'm not able to physically fit it all out open on the table, so I apologize for that. But you have nice heavy duty steel brackets. It's all been powder coated, it's gonna resist corrosion and that kind of stuff. They're very, very durable, very elegant finish there. So again, these would mount up to the bottom of that truck frame and then the boards would mount to that part.
As you can see, you got a lot of components here. You got the electrical brain box, you got some switches, heat shrinks, lots of wiring, a main wiring harness, all the connections and everything. Nice wire loom, keep it all clean and protected. You got another bag here with cable ties. You've got LED lights, you've got sensors built into some of these wiring harnesses.
That way when you open and close the door of the vehicle, you are operating that motorized step. So I'll throw an image of pretty much what this looks like, all laid out as far as everything but those brackets. So all the wire harnesses, the wire loom, the little brain box guy, you can see they're kind of the center. They even give you a little packet of, what is it It's like a grease lubrication and some anti-seize and those kind of things for whenever you're putting the bolts and the hardware and stuff in there. That way it comes out clean if you ever need to in the future. And all the wire harnesses and the wire looms and everything, like I showed you, they're really, really nice, high quality. They've given you wire loom, they've given you the wiring harnesses, everything looks and seems to be a plug and play option. Going over the instructions, it looked pretty straightforward, honestly. I mean, I'm not gonna lie to you, it's pretty in depth. As far as a timeframe, I would give yourself a couple hours just to be safe. I recommend with anything, always read through the instructions first all the way through. Get an idea visually and mentally what you need to do and then kinda lay it out and then just take your time step by step and you shouldn't have any problems. There's no drill on this install. All the included hardware is here. All the holes are already in the vehicle frame, so you don't have to worry about anything like that. The only other thing I recommend after talking to our local installers here is get yourself some like WD 40 PB blaster, some kind of cleaning lubricant and anti-seize lubricant to clean out any preexisting holes in the factory frame. That could possibly have some rust, surface rust or stuff, gunk debris from like road grime, salt spray, that kind of stuff. So it is made here in the US, a great one year limited warranty. This again is the custom mounting kit for the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
