Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Kenda Karrier KR53 ST235/80R16 radial trailer tire on this 16 inch black aluminum wheel. Now this radial trailer tire does come pre-mounted on this 16 inch black machined aluminum wheel with an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. So whether you're replacing a worn out setup or you're prepping a new trailer, you're gonna save time and skip the hassle of separate mounting and inflation with this assembly. Now the KR53 tread is optimized for road control and trailer stability. It has low rolling resistance that's gonna help maintain fuel efficiency and steady tracking on long distance hauls for us.
And as you probably know, that radial construction's gonna help reduce heat buildup and it's gonna promote longer tread life, especially on those extended trips. So as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together, and as we have stamped here on our tire, this is an ST235/80R16. So again, an ST235/80R16, and this is a load range E tire, meaning it has a 10 ply rating and this has a maximum load capacity of 3,520 pounds at 85 PSI. And this tire has a speed rating of N, indicating a maximum speed of 87 miles per hour. So this does come mounted on this black machine aluminum wheel.
It's lightweight, it's corrosion resistant, and it does add a clean polished look to your trailer setup. So really attractive wheel that this tire is mounted on. Speaking of this wheel, the dimensions looking at the diameter first, measuring bead seat to bead seat is 16 inches. The width is six inches, and our bolt pattern is eight on six and a half inches. And in case you don't know, the first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes, and then the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an even number of bolt holes, as we have here, you simply measure from the center of any bolt hole to the center of the bolt hole directly across from it. The wheel stud size is a half an inch by 20. The wheel itself has a capacity of 4,400 pounds. This does not come with a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits a pilot diameter of 4.90 inches.
