When you’re pulling long miles, this setup is built to handle the weight and stay cool at speed. The Kenda ST225/75R15 radial tire is Load Range E with a 10-ply rating and a 2,860-lb maximum load at 80 psi. The radial construction cuts heat buildup and rolling resistance for steady tracking and longer tread life. With a speed rating of M (81 mph) and full nylon plies over double steel belts, it’s the kind of tire that feels surefooted on the highway, even under a full load.
Salt spray, rain, or road grime—this wheel shrugs it off. The 15" x 6" Sendel Series T03 aluminum wheel has a corrosion-resistant clear coat finish on both sides to keep it looking sharp season after season. The aluminum build resists rust far better than painted steel, and improved clamp force (ICF) technology helps keep the wheel securely seated so you’re not retightening lug nuts after every haul.
This Kenda Karrier special trailer radial tire combines strength with comfort. Its computer-generated tread design and premium rubber compound give it solid traction whether the pavement is dry or slick. Because the cords run at a 90-degree angle across the tire, it flexes evenly and runs cooler than bias designs, meaning less road hum and more stability when you’re cruising at highway speeds.
No extra steps needed—this is a fully assembled tire and wheel that meets Department of Transportation specifications. It’s built around a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern with a 4.25" pilot diameter and includes a steel-reinforced rubber valve stem rated up to 100 psi. Rated for 3,200 lbs overall capacity and backed by a 5-year tire warranty plus lifetime structural coverage on the wheel, it’s ready to roll right out of the box.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Kenda Karrier ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range E, and it's mounted on this 15-inch silver machine Sendel aluminum trailer wheel with the 6-on-5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this tire wheel assembly is ideal for stock trailers, utility trailers, and even campers. The wheel is a nice durable, corrosion-resistant Sendel series T03SM. And you can see it is a split five-spoke design aluminum wheel. Does have a silver finish to it.
And then on the face and on the lip of the wheel, they actually do a machine finish to give it some shine. They do use a clear coating for excellent corrosion resistant. Basically the front and the back of the wheel are all clear coated. Now, the size of the wheel, the diameter on the wheel is 15 inches. The width on just the wheel is six inches wide.
This has a bolt pattern of 6-on-5-1/2 inches. The pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center, that diameter is 4.25 inches. And we mention that because as you notice, it does not come with the center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately. You just have to get one that has that same diameter as this pilot hole, 4.25 inches.
Does use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20, and the weight capacity on just the wheel is 3,200 pounds. Now, the tire on this is a Kenda Karrier special trailer radial tire. It is a special trailer tire design, so it does couple the strength of a bias tire with the durability and stability of a radial tire. Basically, it uses double steel belts and then full nylon plies to combine for superior function and long life. And if you look at the tread, they use a computer-generated tread design and premium rubber compound materials, gives you superior traction in wet or dry conditions.
Now, we mentioned it's an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer tire, uses sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads, and it is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on other vehicles. The tire size, which will always be stamped on the tire, right here ST for Special Trailer 225/75R15. The R means it is a radial tire. Section width on this is 8.9 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top is 28.4 inches. And this is a load range E tire, which means it's a 10-ply rated tire. Does have a maximum load of 2,860 pounds at 80 PSI. And this tire does have a speed rating on it and they stamp it on the sidewall by letter designation and it's usually right after the size we went over. You'll see two numbers and then you'll see a letter stamp. This is speed rating M, which means it's a 81 mile power speed rating. This assembly does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specifications. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Kenda Karrier ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range E mounted on the 15-inch silver machined Sendel aluminum trailer wheel.

I used the same setup on a PWC trailer I had several years ago, and I really liked them. They look awesome on your boat trailer!

New tires and wheels look fantastic Robert! I passed along your review to Adam as well. What body of water do you mainly get your boat out on? We are located in Missouri, you can catch me at the Lake of the Ozarks or Mark Twain Lake chasing that 10 pound bass =)

Truthfully, it’s a spare for the boat trailer. I bought it because it matched the stock rims. I’ve had no issues with the quality and workmanship.

Still very happy I’ve checked the pressure and every time it’s right where it’s supposed to be. I trailer my boat quite a bit. Fishing 28 tournaments this year.
