Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Fortress aluminum bolt-on cap service kit. Now, this complete service kit is going to let you restore the performance of your Fortress oil cap, and this has been designed to fit your 9,000 to 12,000-pound Dexter bolt-on axles. And this is made for the Dexter Fortress cap identified by the model number that you see there on your screen. So this is going to obviously help stop hub leaks. The gaskets are going to create a tight seal to keep oil where it belongs.
It's going to help maintain pressure by keeping the oil sealed into the lubricate spindle and bearings. And this is going to be a pretty simple DIY install. You're just going to replace the old components. No special tools are going to be necessary. You're going to get these two Dexter rubber plugs.
And then you're going to get these two oil fill plugs. And then you already saw the bolt-on oil cap gaskets, you're going to get two of those. And then you're going to get 12 bolt lock washers. Now, if you do decide that this is going to be the kit for you, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience getting this installed.
