Keeping your trailer visible on the road is easy with this TecNiq midturn side marker. The amber LED output shines bright for clear signaling, even in low light. Rated for over 100,000 hours of service life, it keeps working long after traditional bulbs would have burned out. With a voltage range of 9-14 VDC and a current draw of just 0.25-0.34 amps on high and 0.04-0.05 amps on dim, it delivers strong light while staying energy efficient.
Worried about moisture or dirt getting inside your lights? This one is built to stay sealed tight. Its IP68 rating means it’s both dustproof and waterproof, so it holds up through rain, road spray, or full submersion. The TecSeal urethane potting adds another layer of protection by sealing the circuit board from corrosion and vibration damage.
Long days in the sun can fade or crack cheap lenses, but this light uses an automotive-grade, UV-resistant polycarbonate lens that keeps its clarity and color. It resists yellowing and damage from the elements, so your signal stays sharp and visible whether you’re parked or rolling down the highway.
Installation is simple thanks to the slim surface-mount body that fits standard mounting holes—no drilling new patterns or adapting brackets. The 9" pigtail makes wiring quick with clear color codes: white for ground, red for high/turn, and black for low/dim. Once wired, it sits flush at 7-1/2" long by 3-5/16" wide by 1-5/8" deep for a clean, durable finish that looks right at home on any build.
This TecNiq marker isn’t built for short trips—it’s built to last. With a rated life over 100,000 hours and backed by a lifetime warranty, it’s a dependable upgrade you can count on every time you hit the road.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our TecNiq Midturn Side Marker Surface Mounted Amber, using a pigtail. So folks, again, powered with the pigtail that you would wire up. I have it loosely wired together today for us to take a look at. You got the seven high-quality LEDs, you got your running lights. Then of course when you apply the brakes, it would get brighter.
There we go. So there's your difference in the lights. Very nice, very bright. And again, this does feature a pigtail out the back, so all you gotta do is wire up ground, power, et cetera. And then of course it's surface mounted.
You're gonna have four holes. You would need to screw them in place, no screws included. And as you can see, it is a different kind of thickness. And it tells you right on the plastic point towards the front of the vehicle. That way, whenever you're looking down the side of the trailer, you're able to see it from behind and everything.
So it runs on 12 volts. Nice polycarbonate lens, extra protection, LEDs, great high-quality, waterproof, dust resistant. What more do you want, right So folks, this is the Amber Surface Mounted, with included pigtail, Midturn Side Marker by TecNiq. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
