This round 4-1/4" Peterson LumenX light uses seven LEDs under an amber lens to give off a bright, clean signal that’s easy to see day or night. It’s built for a 12V DC system and runs efficiently across a 9V–16V range. Compared to old incandescent bulbs, the LEDs run cooler, draw less power, and hold up longer without burning out.
Moisture can ruin a light from the inside out. This one’s designed with a skirted weld joint that blocks water from seeping in around the lens or housing. That means no fogging, no corrosion, and no flickering from trapped moisture—just dependable performance whether you’re driving through rain or washing down the trailer.
No need to splice or guess at wiring. This light uses a standard PL-3 connection that plugs into a 3-prong pigtail—either the straight 431-491 or right-angle 421-491 (sold separately). It drops right into your existing setup for a clean, secure fit that keeps wiring simple and tidy.
The 4-1/4" round shape installs flush in a cutout using a grommet (426-18 sold separately). That recessed mount keeps the light protected from bumps while giving your trailer a neat, finished look. It’s fully compatible as a front or rear turn signal and meets DOT and FMVSS 108 requirements for on-road safety.
You won’t be swapping this light anytime soon. The solid LED build, moisture barrier, and rugged housing are backed by a 10-year limited warranty. It’s made to stay bright, stay sealed, and stay working long after old bulb-style lights have burned out.

Today we're taking a look at a Peterson LumenX round LED turn signal and parking light. Now this is a round trailer light that serves two functions for your trailer. Turn signal light and parking light. It features durable surface-mount technology. When it comes to the construction of the LED circuit board, that design better withstands shock and vibration, and allows for improved heat distribution.Now this is a LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights.
They last longer, they burn brighter, they're more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about brittle filaments, and you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs.We have a nice amber lens on a white base. Has a nice sealed design, so the LEDs are protected from the elements. It's a recess mount with a grommet, and when it comes to the wiring, it accepts an industry-standard three-prong plug. Both the grommet and the plug are sold separately and available at etrailer.com.This is Department of Transportation compliant.
It meets FMVSS-108 requirements for automotive lighting. The product is made right here in the USA.We're going to take a look at the overall diameter measurement, and then we'll hook it up to power so you can see what it looks like. So, edge to edge, it measures 4-1/4". I have a three-prong plug here, so I'll show you how that connects. You got the port at the back of the housing.

Then when we apply our turn signal, you can see how that signal output increases for a nice bright design.Now this contains a total of seven diodes, or seven LEDs. So the multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. LEDs also have a much faster response time when compared to incandescent. Lights work great and look good! Hopefully i dont have to order more anytime soon but if i do, ill definitely buy from etrailer again!
