This 6-7/16" oval LED trailer light puts out bright, clean light for your brake, tail, and turn signals. With 4 white LEDs behind a red lens, it shines clearly while using very little power—just 0.161 amps for stop and turn, and only 0.007 amps for the tail. It’s more efficient and durable than incandescent bulbs, so you won’t be swapping out lights or dealing with burnt filaments anytime soon.
If your trailer sees water, this light is ready for it. The polycarbonate lens and housing are sealed to keep moisture out, making the unit fully waterproof and submersible. Whether you’re on wet roads or backing down a boat ramp, it stays protected from water intrusion that can kill lesser lights.
Wiring is simple thanks to the standard 3-prong PL-3 connector that works with common pigtail plugs like A45PB or A47PB (sold separately). Mounting is just as straightforward—this light installs in a recessed grommet (A70GB, sold separately) for a clean fit, or you can use the optional BK70BB bracket if you don’t want to cut a hole. Either way, setup is neat and secure.

The lens and housing are made of rugged polycarbonate that resists cracks and damage from road debris. It’s built to handle vibration and exposure without fading or breaking down over time. DOT compliance ensures it meets safety standards while keeping your trailer visible in all conditions.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light, part number STL412RB. It features 4 DOT-approved LEDs and because it's LEDs, it's more efficient and there are no bulbs to replace. It's a 6 and a half inch oval light that serves 3 functions. You have your break, your turn signal, and your tail light. It features a sonically sealed waterproof housing and fits flush with a grommet. The grommet we recommend is part number A70GB.
Now, it comes in a quantity of 1 so if you're looking to replace both tail lights, you'll need to pick up 2 which is what we recommend. Now, we'll show you how we got it installed. First thing we need to do is remove that old incandescent bulb. We're just going to take it out with our fingers here. If you need to, you can use a flat head screwdriver to pry it out of the grommet. If you're not replacing the grommet, you want to leave that in place.
Now that we've got it out, let's go and disconnect it. Let's use 2 fingers to wheel it and pry it off till it comes loose. Now if your plugs are old and abused like ours, you want to go ahead and clean those off with a wire brush just to ensure we got a good connection when we reconnect our new light. That looks pretty good. We can grab our new light now.
They're going to come pre-greased up. We'll just line up our tabs and the plugs and push it firmly in place. Now let's test it up. Let's go and try the brake. Perfect. Now our turn signal.
Great. Then finally our tail lights. Works great. We'll just get it placed right back in the grommet and we've got it. If anything we're to ever happen to the LEDs, they feature a lifetime warranty. That's going to complete our look of the Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light, part number STL412RB.

They work great and we're fairly easy to install as a replacement for the old style brake lights with bulbs....
Good job easy to order and I will be b ack
I have a Haulmark utility trailer. One tail light was giving me trouble and I tried fixing it but decided to just replace it with these. They are brighter and fit right in to the old grommet. They were a bit loose so I wrapped some e-tape around them and they are staying in place just fine. I also ordered the pigtails and soldered and heat-shrinked the connections - the factory connecting were "scotch-locks", which I hate. After I did this, I looked closely at the old lights and realized that there was a 3 prong plug which I might have been able to use rather than doing new connections and soldering them, but by doing what I did, I now have tight connections and I can easily replace the light if I ever have to (I got rid of the scotch locks). Yes, I could maybe have soldered the old connections and used the old plug, but it was constructed in such a way that I didn't realize it was there (I thought it was part of the light body). My picture shows the old light and the old plug disconnected from it and the new LED in place on my trailer. It works great - glad I did this. It's much brighter than the old light.
THESE ARE AWESUM. They even look good when off !! Cant wait to BLIND some tailgaters. Drivers who tailgate boat trailers need to be tazed. I ADDED a Sequential Turn module to each side making them even better. A 3rd brake light wire controls others so only E-Trailers Optronics blink. SUPER BRIGHT !! These pull no power at all so I run 30 LED units or hundreds of bulbs all around the trailer.
Bought these LED Stop/Tail lights for my new dump trailer. The factory stop/tails are mounted very low, and any car directly behind me blocks my lights from the 2nd or 3rd car behind me. So I mounted these new ones up as high as I could to let people know I am stopping or turning. I also mounted a side marker light so I could see where the trailer was while backing up at night. The factory marker lights are so low I can’t see them in my mirrors because they are blocked by the step on the drivers side and the spare tire on the passenger side. I am a retired 18 wheeler driver of 47 years.
I bought these lights for a boat trailer. They are very bright and we're easy to install. I would recommend to anyone looking for replacement lights
Perfect. Exactly what I wanted and needed. Fast shipping. Great communication! Thank you.

SuperFast Shipping
Great service the exact replacement nee ded.
Great product if you have an odd ball trailer light set up like I do that requires a center mount position plug! Fast east purchase and fast shipping, great company to deal with!
This light was almost an exact match for the stock light that came on the camper. I bought 2 and replaced them both, and they seem to be a little bit brighter than the originals, which I am glad with.
This light was exactly like described. I purchase a lot on line and use amazon prime for free shipping. I could not find this light on amazon and was very impressed that etrailer.com had very reasonable shipping prices. Instead of gouging the cost was in line what normal shipping cost would be. The shipping and tracking were spot on and the lights were delivered as promised. A VERY good company to work with.
We are looking for a supplier of trailer parts .. they had what we needed.
We build aprox 60 trailers a year. I am going to take a good look to see what else we can get from them.
Identical size, shape & function to the original taillight on a 2-yo Master Tow dolly. Replacement taillight from the mfg didn’t fit the original taillight bezel. This one is an exact fit.
My experience with Etrailer was excellent again as always. Always appreciate the explanation and videos to confirm correct product and installation before purchase. Delivery is always awesome as well.
I have not hooked it up to power, but I'm sure it will work. THe only disappointment I had was the light I removed had a rubber pad to help seal the screw holes and wire entry to the back of my trailer to keep moisture out. This light does not have that and it is not available from your company.
Exact replacements for my old tail lights.Fit perfectly. They also solved the issue. Tho old tail lights were allowing the blinker current to back track through the clearance lights. One of tail lights had water in it and when it flashed the clearance lights flashed too.
While I've not yet installed these they look like good replacements for the OEM lights. They are the correct style, size and the screw hole placement seems to be correct. My only reason for giving them an average rating is that they don't come with any gaskets. The original lights have a gasket between the back of the light and the wall of the camper. While the light unit itself is sealed the wires come through a hole in the camper wall and without a gasket the possibility of leaks is there. I will likely buy some gasket material from an auto parts store and make my own. No, I don't think the camper sealant will work as well as a rubber gasket.
great value
Received quickly as ordered - Very helpful web site
we have not installed our led lights yet but they are what we wanted. thank you
used to replaces taillights on a haulmark enclosed trailer. They were very easy to install, much brighter than stock lights.
Submersible LED oval lights hooked right up to TruckLite plugs on a 1992 MasterCraft ProStar 190 trailer. Work great, look great right out of the box. Great customer service, great shipping/packaging. Would do business with e trailer again, thanks!
