This light packs five amber LEDs behind a clear lens to give off a bright, smooth ring of light that stands out day or night. It’s made to replace old incandescent lights, lasting up to 50 times longer and using much less power. At 12.8 volts, it only draws 0.12 amps, so you get high visibility without loading down your electrical system. No bulbs to replace and no filaments to break—just solid, consistent light every time.
Built for the wettest conditions, this light has a sonically sealed housing and lens that form a single waterproof unit. That means water can’t leak in and damage the LEDs or circuit board. Whether it’s used on a boat trailer or caught in heavy rain, the submersible design keeps it protected and dependable trip after trip.
When you need reliable visibility for safety compliance, this P2-rated light delivers a focused 90-degree beam pattern—45 degrees to either side of center. It functions perfectly as either a clearance or side marker light, giving others a clear view of your trailer from head-on angles. The output is crisp and easy to see without glare or fade.
This round light measures 1-11/16" in diameter and 3/4" deep, making it compact enough to mount where space is tight. It surface mounts with holes spaced 1-3/4" apart (center to center) and uses a 1-3/8" hole for wiring. The included 2-wire pigtail with 0.18 male bullets keeps hookup quick and simple—just power and ground. A chrome bezel can be added separately for a clean finished look.
The polycarbonate lens and housing stand up to vibration, impacts, and rough use on the road. Designed for years of service with no maintenance beyond wiring it once, this light keeps shining bright across all seasons and conditions—and it’s backed by a 3-year warranty for added peace of mind.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics GloLight M3 LED Clearance or Side Marker Light. This round trailer light features a smooth bright outer band that serves as either a side marker light or a clearance light. It's going to feature a sonically sealed waterproof housing and lens unit that is submersible. It's a complete LED system. LED's make great replacement for incandescent lights. They last longer, burn brighter, and they're much more efficient.
You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. This unit is going to feature the nice clear lens with amber LED's. It's a polycarbonate lens and housing, very strong and durable. Mounts directly on the surface of the trailer. There's two pre-drilled mount hols for this. Mounting hardware is not included and your installation area does require a small hole to allow the wiring to pass through.
It's a two-wire pigtail with the 0.18 male bullets on there. You have power wire and your ground wire. Now, they do make a chrome bezel that goes over this to give it a nice clean finished look, that is sold separately and available at etrailer.com if you're interested. This is PT rated, it's Department of Transportation compliant. A few measurements that I want to go over with you real quick. The lens area, so just measuring the lens area, it's a round design, that's going to give us a diameter of about an inch and a half.
The housing, so measuring this base edge to edge is about one and 13/16" of an inch. That's going to be an same measurement going to the other direction. Then your mount holes on the unit are separated apart from one another on center by one and 13/16" of an inch as well. The thickness front to back is only about three-quarters of an inch thick or three-quarters of an inch deep. The unit contains a total of five LED's or five diodes and has a power drill at 12.8 volts of 0.12 amps. We're going to go ahead and hook it up to our external power source, that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it.
We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low light setting. You can see here it sends out a nice clear, consistent signal. It's got that nice smooth outer band of light. Then it's got that inner area right there that has the LED as well. The multi-diode design is really going to help optimize the overall light output of the unit and it sends out a very sharp clear consistent signal. That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics GloLight M3 LED Clearance or Side Marker Light.

Exactly what I needed to rewire my vintage trailer.
Best online company experience so far. Excellent communication that seems truly personable. Product was exactly as expected and looks great. Used as a side marker on the tongue of my aluminum PWC trailer along with rear tail glolights. Thanks again.
