Question:

I have a 2015 Toyota Highlander I was thinking of getting this hitch with bag 988501. I see there are several tail light kits for this carrier 98174LED and 20174 but given the size of the bag and my propensity to fill items to the brim I am thinking I will need to move my licence plate and it will need a light for it required by my state. First is the bag and carrier and lights I have ed a good fit and two how do I add a lighted licence plate kit.

The light kit for the # 63153 carrier is the # 20174 for incandescent lamps or # 98174LED for LED lamps.

This would fit the cargo bag part # 988501 that you are interested in as well so it would be your best option that wouldn't require any fabrication.

If you need to move your license plate, you could use the # Y02713 which is unlit or the # 328-003-71PE for a lighted option.
